Allison watkins purchased this house in 2014
Why Allison watkins chose Rockville
Our Grandparents purchased the Historic Rockville Telegraph home in the mid 1970's and loved it back from the brink of disaster. Josh spent his youth wandering the property as his grandparents loved this house back to life. In the Early 1990's Josh brought his girlfriend down on her first backpacking trip to hike the world famous Zion Narrows.... which resulted in the two marrying 2 years later. Keeping the Rockville Telegraph Home in the family was crucial for Josh and Allison so they could pass the love of Red Rocks onto their kids. You will always find them enjoying the holidays in Rockville with their family.
What makes this house unique
Their is absolutely no other property like this in all the area. The Historic Telegraph home is the oldest structure in the whole time. To be able to stay in a restored piece of history is a one in a life time experience. Abraham Lincoln was President of the USA when this house was built. The Telegraph office connected communications from Northern Utah with all the surrounding areas in the late 1800's. In the day an age where the world is more modern everyday, this house is a step back in time. (Except with High Speed Wi-FI) With 2800 square feet and a half acre, there is plenty of room to breath and unwind.
