Stunning 2 double bed apartment near the Port, Ramblas & Beach
The apartment is situated in a one way street opposite the Military Museum of Catalonia a stone throw from the Ramblas, Port Vell and Soho House.
Simply the best tourist location and extraordinarily quiet with no neighbours in front or behind. Amble around the Barrio Gotico and old town with it's broad range of restaurants, medieval buildings, Barcelona Cathedral, Plaza del Rey, Plaza del Pi, Catalunya and Paseo de Gracia
If walking is not your thing there are electric bikes to rent across at Port Vell, the Dressanes metro station and a fantastic bus service on the Pasg de Colum both a 100 meters away.
The bedrooms are situated at the back of the apartment so are whisper quiet and the double glazing in the front blocks out what little street noise there is outside. Large fans above the beds make sure you stay cool at night or air con if it's scorching will cool the whole flat down in minutes.
A full kitchen with 2 ovens and Bora cook top means you don't have to go out every night but can relax at home with a bottle of wine in front of the large television set up with Netflix and Prime video.
Our long term cleaner comes in every Tuesday to change you beds and clean.

I'm English/Australian and have lived all over the world. Now semi retired we spend the winter months in Barcelona enjoying our home and the summer months sailing around the Med exploring.
Having spent 22 hears in Australia we are enjoying being back in Europe and love that we can jump on a plane or train for a few hours and be in a different country experiencing new food language and culture.
I love to cycle, do pilates and horse ride in the hills
Our son lives around the corner and will look after you when you arrive and depart, and fix any problems you might have.
It's good to know our home is being looked after when we are away and I like to think our guests will enjoy the area as much as we do.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
We are one road back from the port and for us it was important to be able to get to the beach easily for a morning swim. Equally we are at the bottom of the gotico so surrounded by old traditional buildings, restaurants, galleries and everywhere is within walking distance including the Born, el raval and Plaza Catalunya.
Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
To be so close to the Ramblas yet in a quiet one way street where cars have to drive over a pedestrian only area to enter means with our double glazing we are oblivious to what is happening around the corner. Equally the bedrooms back on to the Wax Museum so it is whisper quiet at night too !
