​​Escape to a world of tranquillity at our beautifully designed Boathouse, tailor-made for those seeking a luxurious getaway. Nestled on the serene grounds of our property in West Sussex, with panoramic views of the Sussex countryside, a private hot tub, table tennis table and access to our tennis court. Whether you're seeking a romantic retreat or an active weekend getaway, our Boathouse offers a perfect blend of luxury and natural beauty, promising an unforgettable experience.

THE PROPERTY
Our Boathouse has been thoughtfully designed to provide you with a cosy and intimate setting.
You will find a fully-fitted kitchen with a kettle, fridge, freezer, wine fridge, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, coffee machine and more. Fully equipped with utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Dishwasher tablets and cleaning essentials can be found in the kitchen, should you wish to use them.
Downstairs you will also find a large L-shaped sofa, a smart TV and a log burner perfect for those cosy evenings in.
Downstairs you will also find the shower room, with luxury toiletries provided for your stay. Linen and towels are provided. Additional towels and robes are provided for use in the hot tub.
Large mezzanine bedroom with a super-king bed and panoramic views of the lake and the Sussex countryside.

THE LAND
During your stay, you will have access to the hot tub looking out across to your private lake. The hot tub is available all year round and perfect even in the winter months. Surrounding the Boathouse, the decked area has multiple seating areas, a fire pit and a gas BBQ. You will also have access to our 16 acres of land to walk around, and access to the tennis court, if you wish to use it. Please note there are no fish in our lake, so not suitable for fishing.

THE AREA
We neighbour Thakeham village, which has a very good local pub, The White Lion. Also neighbouring the amazing Kinsbrook Vineyard, which is a must-visit.

Everything!

I am so glad I picked this house for our anniversary trip. I was looking all around England for something special and this was it. We stayed for three nights and relaxed around the house. We enjoyed the hot tub, both fire places and walking around the property and then driving our car around the area. The last day was warmer so we got on the row boat and could hear the ducks swim by us and quack. The best word to describe our stay is idyllic.

Unique & Magical Stay

Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay at your very special and luxurious boathouse. From booking to departure the whole experience was exceptional. Both Olivia and Yana were very fast to respond and extremely helpful in responding to our questions during the booking process and assisted with information for our planned visit to Kinsbrook, which we also highly recommend! Yana was onsite during our stay and was warm, friendly and helpful at all times, which we really appreciated. The boathouse is truly gorgeous and the setting is quite magical. Every little thing had been provided for including luxury bath robes, additional towels for the hot tub and muddy dog towels too and lots of logs for the fabulous woodburner, perfect for our November holiday. We have stayed at some wonderful high end holiday properties and this is definitely up there at the very top of the list and very hard to beat for the uniqueness of the location on its own beautiful lake - we slept with the blinds open so that we could wake up to the amazing view! We very much look forward to a return trip in the not too distant future x
