Sleeping up to six guests, this comfortable and spacious property is perfect for family staycations or getaways with friends. You’ll feel at home as soon as you step foot into Heather Cottage. With beautiful interiors and high-quality furnishings, there is a welcoming and homely feel throughout.
The Space:
Upon entering Heather Cottage, you’ll be welcomed into the fully equipped, modern kitchen - new for Summer 2025. Sharing the space is the dining area where you can enjoy meals and relax with your loved ones.
Next door is a delightful living room which is home to two plush velvet sofas, a flat screen TV, and an exposed stone wall which adds real character to the space.
The house boasts three spacious bedrooms. The master features a king size bed and storage space in abundance. Ideal for family stays, the second bedroom is a twin and the third is a double.
Heather Cottage has one family bathroom - new for Summer 2025. The space is complete with a bath and overhead shower, wash basin and WC.
Heather Cottage can be booked with the other two properties on the site – Byre Cottage and Moorland Cottage – all of which have access to a barn with dining for 14 guests. Please contact our team to enquire about booking all three properties together.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Heather Cottage are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in.
On-site parking is available in a large communal area shared with the neighbouring properties. with 2 EV charging points between the 3 properties.
Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Heather Cottage per reservation.
Guests have access to use the barn which is located on site. Please note that this is a shared space with the neighbours, and does not have any heating so may not be useable in the winter months.

Getting Around:
Hutton-Le-Hole does not have a train station itself. Both Castleton Moor and Malton stations are around 15 miles away from the village. From Castleton, direct services can be found operating to Whitby, Middlesbrough, Thornaby-on-Tees, Stockton-on-Tees, Hartlepool, Seaham, Sunderland, Newcastle, Prudhoe and Hexham. Malton has regular routes to Scarborough and York.
The North Yorkshire Moors Railway can be accessed from Pickering. Hop on board to take a scenic route to Whitby via Levisham, Goathland and Grosmont.
Three bus routes can be found operating in Hutton-Le-Hole offering direct access to Kirkbymoorside, Pickering, Guisborough and York.
Teesside International Airport is 45 miles away from Hutton-Le-Hole.
