The property is in a great location that makes it easy to walk to all the key areas of the city. Its comfortable and clean and has a lot of space for everyone. The check in process was easy and the host was very responsive. I would highly recommend this property if you are going to Brussels.
I highly recommend this property. The location is perfect, even better than it looked on the map. Apartment is clean, spacious and full of character. Owner was very helpful. We had a lot of heavy luggage, so the steep stairs were a challenge. But as far as we were concerned, it was well worth the minor inconvenience. Would definitely stay here again.
Property is beautiful example of an older Brussels apt. The location to grand place, restaurants are superb, very short walk. Be advised the apartment is on 3rd level and the upper stairs are round and treacherous. Bringing heavy luggage up is challenging.Fred is very communicative and accommodating. If you want a taste of yesteryear you will enjoy this unique rental.
I give this apartment five stars for it’s overall charm. It’s a beautifully set up apartment in a very old building that is above A busy café. My only caviat with this property is that you have to climb two very precarious sets of stairs to get to the apartment. if you have any issues with balance or leg strength, I would not recommend this. Otherwise it’s a wonderful place to stay and ideally situated in Brussels.
The apartment is super well located close to the Halles of Saint Gény, with Metro closeby, a lot of restaurants, bars, shops....Ideally located in walking distance to major central places.La Petite Forêt is a super smart and unique place with its Art Déco atmosphere and furnitures.Very well equipped, with two distant rooms, so that it was perfect for the purpose of attending to a Congress with my colleague. The owner, Fred, was very helpful, and was very reactive for the few times we were quering for something.Just be aware that the entry door is a very heavy door, so once you have turned the key to unlock the door, you have to give a bump to the door with one's shoulder.I highly recommend this location for either business or family trip

Thank you so much for your kind and detailed review! I’m really glad you enjoyed the central location and the Art Déco charm of La Petite Forêt — it’s great to hear it suited your needs so well for the Congress. It was a pleasure hosting you, and I’m happy I could be of help during your stay.
And yes — that front door does have some character! 😊 Thanks for pointing it out for future guests.
You’re always welcome back, whether for business or leisure.
Warm regards,
Fred
Great location, huge apartment by European standards
Fun quirky apartment, but with some weird issues. First, one of the bathrooms doesn’t have a mirror, so I shaved in the living room. The coffee machine just got slower and slower, it needed a deep cleaning. It’s up two flights of stairs and the last few steps are very uneven. Also our lockbox code didn’t work. We got through it, we were able to get the help we needed. On the plus side, this apartment is beyond quaint and has a dinning room and a living room. The location is superb, walking distance to everything, and steps from the metro. We are Gay tourists and the Gay bars are a block away. The windows do need blackout curtains of some kind.
En el piso de abajo, hay un poco de ruido pero no es grave, si tienes problemas trae tapones y las ventanas están muy bien selladas.
Calidad precio bien

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
I would like to start with a positive note. The property is very clean and the management is very communitive. But This is not a comfortable family friendly property. Most pieces of furniture and accessories are antique and either uncomfortable or we were cautious of it being damaged. The stairs to our third floor apartment were narrow and lacked a handrail. Rarely was the stairway lighted. The people in the apartment above us had a party the first night with dancing. The second night the businesses below were quite busy and loud. Thus the person who stays in the front bedroom will not get much sleep. The location provides lots of activity and within walking distance to many solutes and the train. Fred was great!
