Great condo with all the necessities and then some. The view from this condo is fantastic. We made good use of the beach chairs, and the beach umbrella was a huge plus. You can easily walk to multiple restaurants and shops. Central location means everything on the island is within an hour. The kitchen is well appointed with more appliances and tools than I expected. I'd definitely stay again if I go to Kauai again.

Top notch condo

This place has everything we needed to cook. The sound of the ocean waves is mesmerizing, night and day. The beach chairs, towels and other items fit the bill perfectly. And Wailua is a great location. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

Amazing view!

Great location near Historic Kapaa town. The place was clean, quiet, and had an amazing view off the balcony to the ocean. Plenty of parking and a completely no smoking facility! It looked newly renovated with all the amenities you would need. I would stay here again.

Just what we needed for our first visit to Kauai

A short ten minute ride from the airport and very easy to find. Minutes from the town of Kapa'a and everything you might be looking to buy or to grab some great food! The condo had beautiful views and EVERYTHING you might need to feel right at home.

It's the View

Hearing the ocean 24/7 was amazing.

Everything was provided that you would want including beach chairs and an umbrella. The dishes, utensils, etc. were all of good quality. Nicely maintained.

This property is well appointed with everything you need for a long stay. Roosters are loud, price you pay for paradise right on the water. Beautiful views, easy walking to restaurants and bike trail. We will be back.

Week at Wailua Bay View

Had a great stay at Wailua Bay View. Great location, quiet building, and we had access to everything we needed within walking distance or a short drive. It is also situated well on the island. The bed was comfortable and there was AC in the room which made it easy to deal with the heat at night. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with basic cooking ingredients. We would love to stay again.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here while in Kauai. The only room that is air conditioned is the bed room. During the summer with no trade winds, we would start sweating if we were in any other room for too long. Other than the air conditioning, we enjoyed our stay here.

50th Wedding Anniversary Trip

My wife and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and chose to visit Kauai. This place was well located in Wailua, just south of Kapa'a...pretty much the center of the island. We were able to visit almost every corner of the island within an hour from this location. The room itself had a great view and was well equipped. Schedule breakfast at the Passion Bakery (right across the street) every morning and especially on days when Malasadas.

Wonderful

Great location, comprehensive amenities and overall a wonderful experience. Some maintenance issues with window above entry door not being able to be closed (which allowed hot air from AC in) and sliding glass doors sticking but they did not affect having a positive stay.

What an Experience!

It was great to be so close to the ocean, able to hear the waves breaking and wind blowing. The unit owners had boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, beach mats and umbrellas, sand chairs and coolers available. Having a washer and dryer in the unit meant fewer clothes to pack, and fresh beach towels were always available. There were many restaurants in the area that ranged from food trucks to fancy sit down meals with wonderful ocean views. Definitely come back.

Fabulous Ocean View!

We are familiar with the Island of Kauai so the units at Wailua Bay View suit us perfectly because of the location. This unit offers not only comfort and great views of the ocean, but is well appointed for your perfect vacation. The kitchen is updated and has everything you need to prepare your meals. The bed and bedding very comfortable along with plush bath towels,. They provide beach towels along with beach equipment ie chairs, boogie board, ice chests,... Full size washer & dryer in the unit (NICE!), ice maker, free wifi, free parking,... The pool is beautiful and has a fully equipped BBQ area. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Great Condo!!!

This condo was perfect for my friend and I on her first visit to Kauai. It was super clean and well stocked. The only thing missing was some binoculars to watch the whales. I admit that at first the location was not what I expected, as there is a shell gas station right behind the condo. And there was bridge construction happening. BUT, the only noise you hear is the ocean! Safeway, Starbucks and Longs Drugs are less than 1 mile away, so super convenient for shopping. Swimable beaches are in walking distance of both sides of the condo. We had a great stay and would stay again. Thank you!!!

The place was in need of updating! The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, the shutters did not close properly either. The listing did not mention no elevator. We had to climb 3 flights of stairs every time we went anywhere with all our groceries and luggage. Was hard for us as an older couple. Pub high table on the balcony- really? Would never stay there again

Everything we hoped for

This condo was perfect for us. The location near Lihue is ideal for making a day hike anywhere on the island. And the location locally is ideal because there are lots of restaurants and shops very close by (Brick Oven Pizza is really good!). As soon as you walk into the condo and see the spectacular view of the beach and ocean, you know you made a great choice! The condo was clean, kitchen had all we needed, mostly just cooked breakfast. And we loved all the beach equipment they provide (beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler, reusable ice packs, snorkel equipment, boogie board). We just loaded the car with everything and we were always ready for whatever we decide to do. The local beach below the condo is nice for morning walks, the beach just over toward Lihue is really nice. The hikes are spectacular no matter which ones you do. Would we come back to this condo? Absolutely!!

Great location and view.

You are basically on top of the water. It is an amazing location. Private lanai with excellent views. Plenty of parking. I must have a different idea of clean than most people. The unit was definitely not clean. Hair in the tub, stains on carpet, just not up to my standards. Kitchen had anything and everything you needed. Even a waffle maker! Sliding glass door didn't lock. Contacted management and they said they would have someone take a look. Someone did come out but it was never fixed. I'm not ok with doors not being locked.

I took a fall in the bath tub on the first day no mat in place and no grab bar. hit hard on my neck and head which split the surround panel. I still have neck mussel spasms 2weks out which is why I am questioning my refund of my deposit. I expect a full refund, safty features were lacking.
