Great location and I am spoiled and can never not stay on the Great Lawn again!! The condo was stocked amazingly with beach toys so no need to rent or buy anything. I do miss the days of the condos being stocked with condiments/seasonings so just know you need to bring those. My only complaint (which is why I gave it 4 stars) was that the bed was pretty uncomfortable. A little too hard for my taste. Other than that…it was amazing. The beach is perfect for surf lessons, jumping in the waves and just playing in. The ability to swap out beach towels was so convenient.

We’ve stayed at Kiahuna several times and this condo was by far our favorite! Being on the great lawn is incredible. Everything inside this condo is top notch. Very clean, so comfortable. Thank you for welcoming us into your home away from home. The closet is fully stacked with all beach necessities. My kids loved the boogie boards! Thanks again, we will be back!

Excellent location on the main lawn with a beautiful view of the lawn and ocean. Just as advertised. The reservation process, check-in and stay were relaxed and hassle free. The full sand had returned to the beach making the stay all the better. This is the second time we have been to this unit.

Our stay at Kiahuna Plantation was absolutely wonderful. The ocean breeze kept the villa cool and comfortable, making the lack of air conditioning a complete non-issue. The ceiling and floor fans were more than sufficient, and the plantation shutters on both the windows and the doors allowed for a constant, refreshing cross-breeze—even with the door securely locked.The ocean view from our villa was breathtaking, and the short walk across the beautifully kept lawn to the beach made the experience even more special. It felt like the perfect mix of relaxation, charm, and convenience.Highly recommend Kiahuna Plantation for anyone looking for a serene, authentic, and comfortable Hawaiian getaway.

The location was great, very close to the beach and great views. This condo does NOT have AC. It was so hot during our stay, it was pretty unbearable. There was one fan in the unit that barely worked, and was filthy. We had to drive back to Lihue the night of our arrival to buy additional fans. The pull out bed is ripped and very old, very uncomfortable. There were no kitchen spices, oil, foil etc. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes, so we had to wash dishes by hand. The location of this condo was great, but the condo needs some work.

Loved the unit and the property! Have stayed at the resort many times and loved this unit. Close to the water, opens up on the grass and a short walk to the beach and the BBQ’s. Great orientation for a shady lanai in the afternoons and morning sun. Unit has been remodeled and was nicely done and had all the neccessities. Kids loved playing on the grass and beach and great surf break for the kids to learn on, with easily accessible lessons right from the Kauai Surf School at the beach hut on property.

Fantastic location

The unit is in a fantastic location, has all that is required regarding utensils and is very clean. Unfortunately it does not have AC and it was very hot. Please let us know if the unit gets AC as we cannot stay there again until it does. It was unbearably hot at night and couldn’t sleep.

We've always loved vacationing on Kauai. We think Poipu is one of the most beautiful places in the world. The beaches, pace of life, beautiful surroundings are just perfect. With two young girls, we love to come Kiahuna Plantation as often as we can. We live in Marin, just north over the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco Bay Area.

We chose Kiahuna Plantation because it provides the perfect combination of ease, comfort and beauty that we love in a beach getaway. We love the the 'Great Lawn,' white sand beach, beach hut, pool, tennis courts, and BBQ on the great lawn near the beach. The location of our unit is also quite special. On the ground floor, you have direct access to the lawn. Kids can run out and play while you enjoy the lanai or grab a chair on the lawn. It is also very close to parking, so you don't have to walk far. Go to the beach and come back for snacks or a quick nap. It's 'no ka oi' - Hawaiian for the best.
