Njut av lukten och utsikten över havet med en 5 minuters promenad till den vackra Old Orchard Beach. BelÀget pÄ en lugn bostadsgata och bara 10 minuters promenad till stadspiren och Palace Playland. Ursprungligen besökte stugan under mÄnga somrar av Rudy Vallee. Ett kvarter frÄn tvÀttomat, restaurang, nÀrbutik, minigolf; fyra kvarter frÄn tÄgstationen. Av gatuparkering finns. Allt som behövs för att ha en avkopplande och rolig flykt.
Stort, soligt dĂ€ck, kombinerat komplett kök och vardagsrum, 2 sovrum pĂ„ tredje vĂ„ningen. Modernt, bekvĂ€mt vardagsrum med bĂ€ddsoffa. Queen size-sĂ€ng i master room. Very nice place. Only complaint is that some of the advertised items were missing. Like laundry and fire pit notably. No tv in the guest room. Otherwise lovely. Very close to the beach.

Very nice and clean place to stay

The home is lovely, close to the beach and other attractions, and the owner is very gracious We had a wonderful time and will definitely book again here.

Very clean and super organized. Alison, the host, goes above and beyond communicating with her guests! I would give our stay and her 10 stars if I could. Nice cottage setup, great deck to sit outside to chill, enjoy coffee and homemade cookies. Yes, you read that right, she baked extra cookies and offered them to us - just amazing! Worth staying at and I would have liked staying longer if we had the time available. Highly, highly recommend!

Nice apartment well located

Well located with only a small walk to the beach. A kitchen well equipped and BBQ to make our own meals. A large living room for everyone to relax. We appreciated our stay here at OOB.

Great stay

We had a great time! The house was a short walk to everything we needed with 4 kids. It was great being in a home rather than a hotel so we didn’t have to order out every day. The host was very helpful and informative!

Lovely home

This was a home which was centrally located to everything we needed, including a super quick walk to the beach! Allison was great to work with and very attentive during our stay. Space and amenities were great.

CT Girls

This was perfect for our girls trip. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach and about 1 mile from the amusement park and good restaurants. It was very comfortable and clean and in a quiet part of town. It’s not on the ground floor so there is a flight of stairs to get to it. Our host, Allison, was so helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Family trip to Old Orchard Beach

The rental was cute and had everything we needed. A few minute walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and park. We stayed after Labor Day so the town was pretty quiet, but that was actually great for us since we had our 19 month old daughter with us. The rental itself is on the upper floor of the house so expect stairs, but it also has a nice deck for when the weather is nice. The owner Allison was easy to communicate with.

We loved our visit over Labor Day weekend in old Orchard Beach Maine. The owner of the property,Allison, is very friendly and welcoming and although I am very familiar with the area, I know that she would be happy to answer any questions for visitors. The property itself was very comfortable, very clean, well appointed, and the location is extremely Convenient to the beach as well as the fun and festivities at old Orchard. I highly recommend renting this property.

A week at the beach with grandchildren

This is the perfect place to relax with family you don't see very often. There is a wagon and chairs for days in the sun. There is a deck or living room space to sit and catch up from months gone by. Also in the area are a couple ice cream places and restaurants to go out for the evening. There is not a lot of extra play area for rainy days be we didn't have any of those in our week. Alison gave us some sparklers for the grandsons entertainment one evening. She made the in and out very easy and answered questions whenever we had one. I'd stay again another summer and might stay a couple extra days for just my wife and me to sit and read in the salt air.

The description online says “Ocean views” however, you can only see a very tiny bit of the ocean when looking out your window when you are on the third floor of the house. In the description of the property under “laundry”, it says “coins”leading you to believe there is a washer and dryer that you can use on the property with coins. There is not a washer and dryer at all. That should have clearly stated no. Additional the portable fans were extremely dusty. We could have used the fans as it was very warm when we visited.

I am so fortunate to be able to live in this paradise. Although the summers are the period of high demand I also love the solitude of winter with the thundering waves and snow shoeing on the beach. I take pride in the accommodations and comfort of my guests.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

The location is perfect. Close to the beach but 'far from the madding crowd'. Built more than 100 years ago with sturdy structure and materials. I have taken care to preserve the charm while incorporating updates such as the hardwood floors, new windows, granite countertop, etc. It was once the summer cottage for Rudy Vallee when he was playing at the pier during the big band era. Since he also wrote the University of Maine (my alma mater) theme song, I have a strong affiliation for this home.
