About this property

East Sooke Escape. Something for everyone fishing, hiking, kayaking or relaxing

Beautiful oceanfront, completely private one bedroom suite with king bed and fully equipped kitchen. Very tranquil, relaxing atmosphere in this brand new suite including quality furnishings and linens, with cleanliness and disinfecting our top priority. With a keyed entry you can arrive whenever it suits you. We live upstairs but your suite is completely separate, no access to the rest of our home. We have done a lot of soundproofing so you will hear very little noise from above. We will say Hi initially but you will have privacy during your stay.

Enjoy the amazing waterfront views from your private front yard. Watch the boats go by right out front or the sunsets at night. Private deck area with BBQ and table setting for outdoor lounging. Washer & dryer available so you can stay as long as you like.

Please Note: Our dock is ready with access to the water and boat moorage available on request.

We live in a beautiful part of South Vancouver Island, East Sooke is rural yet only 20 minutes to Sooke or 50 minutes to Victoria.

THINGS TO DO: There is so much to explore!

Surrounded by natural beauty with fishing grounds only 20 minutes away by boat , you can fish for sockeye, spring salmon, coho, pink or halibut.

East Sooke Park with it's great beaches and miles of hiking trails is right in our backyard! Golfing, kayak rentals at Rush Adventures, zip-lining at Adrenaline located at the historic 17 mile pub and swimming at Lake Matheson are all very close by. The Galloping Goose Trail is great for cycling as it is an old rail line so fairly level. It is 60 km long and runs from historic Leech Town in Sooke right into Victoria at the Johnson Street bridge.

THINGS TO NOTE:

Please bring your own groceries, If you do forget something, there is a local store is 10 minutes down the road and Sooke is only 25 minutes away.

There are several stairs to get into the suite so please be aware of mobility issues.

About the host

My husband Joe and I welcome guests to our beautiful oceanfront home. We feel blessed to live in East Sooke with it's natural beauty and wildlife and love to share it. Our kids are all grown up now so we converted their rooms into a separate completely private suite, it is brand new! My spare time is spent gardening, with flower gardens and a large vegetable garden which suits my other love of cooking as organically as possible. I also work as a bookkeeper right down the road in a great non-profit organization Royal Canadian Marine Search & Rescue.

Why they chose this property

When we were looking to purchase property we wanted waterfront, who doesn't! When we landed in East Sooke it was a fabulous May weekend and we fell in love with the natural beauty and serenity of the area. We can't imagine living anywhere else. If you love the outdoors this is the spot for you.

What makes this property unique

Amazing waterfront views from every window, relax and watch the wildlife!
