Perched directly on the pristine rocky Maine coastline, this family home, the main core of which was originally a Victorian New England carriage barn with characteristic cupola on top, offers breath-taking ocean views from almost every room. Guests describe the extremely spacious high-ceilinged living room, with dining table for ten under a picture window overlooking nothing but rocks and ocean, as feeling like you aboard a ship. While the house carries a sense of history and nostalgia, it exudes warmth and comfort that makes you feel right at home. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two separate living areas and vast outside decks, provide gracious accommodation for up to eight guests.

Step inside to find cozy, well-loved interiors that echo the laughter and stories of generations past. A spacious kitchen with commercial stove is fully-equipped for cooking up a storm, should that be your passion. When you’re ready for a bit of civilization, fifteen minutes’ drive northeast up the coast is the town of Biddeford, which has emerged in the last few years as an exciting dining destination, and twenty-five minutes southwest is world famous Kennebunkport, with its charming galleries, shops and a wide range of restaurants for all tastes. Forty minutes north is Portland, which offers even more dining options and the charming and historic Old Port neighborhood, filled with delightful galleries, cafes and shops. World famous Freeport, home of LL Bean and dozens of high end outlet stores, is an hour’s drive away.
