Wonderful Portland apartment

We stayed here for 4 nights with our 3 young kids and had a wonderful stay. Sharrie was very accommodating and even let us check in early so our little ones could nap. The apartment has so many lovely, homey touches and the beds are comfortable. We also really appreciated being able to park in the driveway. We cooked all our meals and had enough kitchen stuff to make it work. Our only suggestion is to get some measuring cups and measuring spoons. Thanks, Sharrie!

Nice apartment but sleep was a challenge

Heater rythmically banged all night yet didn’t heat room. Window is also broken and during rain storm banged loudly. Sleep was difficult.

Perfect Spot

We really enjoyed our stay here. The Alberta Arts district is a cool spot and this place was in walking distance to everything. Although the outside looks a little rough, the inside is really nice and all you could ask for. We had a little mix up upon arrival but all was taken care of with a phone call. Plenty of space for the 4 of us to sleep comfortably. Couldn't ask for anything more out of this place. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, but apartment is not suitable for hot weather

We left after one miserable night - it's an attic apartment that gets very hot, and the one tiny portable air conditioner doesn't even begin to keep up. Would happily stay there when the weather's not so warm, but never again in summer.

Nicely renovated old building

My adult daughter and I stayed for 3 nights and it was great! Pros: clean, the AC helped as it is an upstairs apt. and the weather was hot. Kitchen cute and cheery. Bathroom looks like newly re-done. Parking off the street was v. nice and the grounds were well groomed.Walking distance to several excellent restaurants and bars. Cons: It was not clear when we arrived that you have to access the apartment by going into a lobby. The door had a different apt. number beside it. The stairs going up to the apartment are narrow and old - more something to be aware of rather than a real "con". Overall I would recommend it..

All-around very good place to stay in Portland. OR

Best features: Roomy, clean, well-equipped, interior well maintained and recently redone, and access to handy busses. Also, nearby grocery store, gym, 24-hour convenience store, parking, short walk (about 6 blocks) to restaurants, etc. Annoying things: None really; maybe could have more TV channels.

Cozy place to stay

Overall we loved staying at our little apartment upstairs, we had everything we needed and if we didn’t we only had to ask and it was done. The apartment we stayed in was newly renovated with lovely wood floors and a nice calming paint color scheme. I’d stay here again if I ever go back to Portland.

Great location in the Alberta Arts District!

The exterior of the house is old and needs updating, but don’t let that dissuade you from this excellent deal! The two-bedroom apartment at the top of this vintage home was quaint and comfortable, with plenty of room for two couples. Within easy walking distance of several great restaurants, shops, and art galleries!
