Location was great and space wasn’t bad. However, the photos make it look much brighter and somewhat bigger. Towels are nice as was the upstairs (we hung out there mostly).The downstairs smells quite badly of cigarette smoke and the sewer from the bathroom. Not much you can do really, but that shower is so small I can’t imagine an average man fitting in it. A new couch would also be good as the one there is rather dirty. Thank you.

The property was as advertised. A little smaller than the photos would show but nice overall. The big problem I had was communication with the host. Several messages on the app about how to get keys with no reply at all until I had to call VRBO directly two days before check in to find out if this was a legit listing. Ended up having to talk with someone from the host's office who sent me an email with instructions. That was a very unpleasant process. Unacceptable. I found out that they sent an email a couple days before but since I did not know who was the email from I did not see it or look for it. No message from the host on the app to warn me or even respond to my several messages asking for move in instructions. Upon arriving in the apartment there was absolutely no information of any kind about the wifi password, info about the neighborhood, info for check out or anything else.. I had to send an email to get the wifi password which I got the next day.. That is also unacceptable. the apartment was clean but showed poor craftsmanship and maintenance. Electric cords coming from the ceiling above for the kitchen coffee maker and water kettle. Broken stairs, railing posts, no plug for the bathroom sink. The bedroom upstairs was very nice and bright with a big closet. Overall, it could have been great without the lack of clear communication and information from the host. The neighborhood was great.

Anyplace but here…

Sink and tub did not drain out. Shower drain COMPLETELY clogged so 2 minute shower in tightest shower space known to man. One lamp in whole apartment with some tiny ceiling lights. No sheets or blanket for pull out couch. No light in kitchenette with garbage hidden behind stairs. T.V. Did NOT work and neither did internet code. NO INTERNET! Instructions are normally left on how to work multiple remotes but not here. Too many codes and lockbox to enter this 5 floor walk up apartment. The place needs more light and the flat top stove is impossible to read in the dark kitchenette. Stove instructions would be wise too! No cleanliness complaints but don’t advertise 2 beds and not supply sheets or blankets. This is my first bad review ever.

Die Lage ist perfekt - viele Restaurants, Cafés, Boutiquen und Lebensmittelgeschäfte in unmittelbarer Nähe auch Bus und Metro. Leider war in allen Zimmern Schimmel, besonders schlimm ist es im Bad, die Lüftung ist defekt. Der Rauchmelder fehlte, der Feuerlöscher im Treppenhaus hätte 2006 (kein Tippfehler, wirklich 2006, also vor 20 Jahren) eine Wartung gebraucht; dies ist wichtig, weil die Fewo im 4. Stock nur über ein enges Treppenhaus zu erreichen ist und die Treppenhausfenster auf einen kleinen Innenhof gehen. Von den Streben an der Treppe zum Schlafzimmer sind ein paar Halterungen gebrochen. Im Bad ist keine Steckdose.
