I'm from Scotland a cold country in the North of the UK. The climate here is constant and tropical. The mountain is 1000m which makes it a Munroe
Why they chose this property
Why choose Kampot for a holiday?
• Rich in natural beauty and places to visit. Bokor Mountain National Park is an amazing day trip by tuk-tuk. One hour by motorbike. Mountain top is 1000m – so its a Munroe. Waterfalls, lakes and rapids within easy reach of the house.
• Kampot Town Historic Colonial market town, retains many of its arched walk ways. Famous for “Kampot pepper“, Durian roundabout and the Seahorse fountain. Big enough to have everything for a busy holiday and small enough that you can walk through arcades and lanes and discover something new on every corner. The Kampot “big market” is a typical old Asian market, an adventure
• Riverside a natural playground from the mountain to the sea. Swimming, kayaking, canoeing, boating in clear blue mountain water at 28oC. Then on to miles of white sandy beaches as the river gets close to the sea. Lined with friendly places to stop and talk and eat. 1000’s of km to walk and explore...
• £4 steak and chips, 50p beer. Everywhere smiles. Cambodians like to party – they celebrate every occasion with music and colour. Three new years, a host of local festivals and events.
• Kampot has tuk-tuks, good roads and no traffic.

• Quality of life, constant climate and healthy air. Civilised, European style living
• English is the Cambodian second language to its easy to understand and communicate.
