La nostra villa è un 4 camere da letto, 3 bagni casa 8 posti letto (massimo) comodamente, con piscina recentemente ristrutturata Situato in giardini appartati con palme, bouganville, ibisco e uccelli del paradiso arbusti. E 'completamente climatizzato con ventilatori a soffitto in tutto, soffitti a volta, arredi in stile contemporaneo e tutti i comfort per una vacanza in villa perfetta. TV via cavo e Internet WiFi è fornito.

Great communication and welcome from Alan in advance. House elegant and spotless. Great pool and BBQ facilities and seating. Great location near beach and amenities. Useful facilities not provided on the house itself, good restaurants and things to do. Top notch.

This was our second stay at Villa Calabash, because we love it so much! The kitchen and living area are spacious with high ceilings and an abundance of light, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are well-equipped and nicely decorated. The pool is a joy! It's shallow, so it stays warm, and is completely private due to the abundance of lush bouganvillea. Location is perfect.

We had a wonderful time at villa Calabash. It is situated on a quiet road, surrounded by lush landscaping and greenery for privacy, but only a very short walk to Jolly Beach, to the Epicurian supermarket, and to some restaurants and bars. It was very safe - had electric shutters on front door, a locking gate and security cameras etc - not that we ever felt unsafe or that we needed them but some people like that peace of mind when abroad. The villa had absolutely everything that we needed for a week's stay. There were 7 of us in total, and fit very comfortably. The swimming pool was super and there is much bird life to observe around the pool area and on the lake opposite the villa. BBQ is superb - we had a chef come to the villa one afternoon to cook lunch on it. BIG washing machine for large family loads after a day on the beach. Lovely outdoor sofa area under the veranda to relax on.Alan as a host is spot on - he provided lots of helpful information and check in guidance in advance and always responded quickly to my messages. The ginger cat that looks like a lion and comes by most days was a bonus that made the kid's holiday! - so friendly and loving. My only point for improvement would be the gas oven - no way of setting a temperature on it so we didn't use it again after the first attempt. But with a great BBQ and good restaurants nearby we were not at a loss at all. Thanks Alan for a great stay. We will be back again one day!Holly and The Saund Family X

From the get-go, our host Alan was wonderfully proactive about sending information that would help us enjoy our stay - whether about the villa itself or recommendations for beaches, restaurants, activities; and also super responsive to any questions. The villa management team could not have been more helpful. And the villa was beautiful, perfect for a special birthday celebration. Lovely pool, deck, kitchen, living area, bedrooms, and bathrooms. All round first rate.

Alan the host was extremely communicative before and during our stay. Whenever we had a question he was quick to respond. He sent us all the best places to visit in a comprehensive local guide brochure. The villa was spectacular. Clean, large space, great pool with comfy sun lounges and lush gardens. The villa was safe and private and we all slept really well. We loved being able to walk out to the beach around the corner and supermarket to pick up essentials. Following Alan’s recommendation we used Keanu the taxi guy multiple times who was punctual and reliable. Thanks Alan and villa management for a memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend the amazing Villa we stayed in. It had everything we needed and more. The Villa and pool are gorgeous and it’s all been beautifully kept. The owners and Management team were very helpful and informative from start to finish. The Villa is in an ideal location, very close to Jolly Harbour and its beautiful beach. Thankyou so much. We will defintely be back and will definitely stay at the beautiful Villa again. Antigua is a beautiful place to visit.

This villa is amazing, with 4 great sized bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (fantastic water pressure), an enormous kitchen and living area, and that beautiful pool. It is very well equipped with all the kitchen utensils we needed, plus a laundry room with cool boxes to use, and a big barbecue that we cooked on a couple of times. We loved watching all the wildlife outside, particularly the hummingbirds.Alan was extremely helpful from my initial enquiry onwards, he also provides his own guide to Antigua and Barbuda which proved very useful, and answered any other questions I had. The management company met us on arrival and the ladies were a great help during our stay when we had any queries.Calabash is in a great position, just a short walk from Jolly Beach, with supermarket and several restaurants within walking distance, and a very short drive to several other west beautiful coast beaches. We hired a car and found driving pretty easy, they drive on the left and no one drives much above 40mph, we visited the south and west coasts with no issues other than the odd car on the other side swerving a pothole or encountering a herd of goats! Highly recommended, thank you Alan!

First trip to Antigua

Very pleasant stay at the villa. Super convenient for access to the supermarket and local beach. Property manager helped us organise a couple of rental cars which made getting around the island so much easier.

Nice house for a family

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Villa Calabash. Lots of space, good location within easy walking distance of Jolly Beach, supermarket and restaurants, and short drive to Ffryes and Darkwood beaches. The communication was excellent.

Relaxing Stay at Calabash Villa

We really enjoyed our stay at Calabash Villa. We were four friends, so appreciated the space of 4 great bedrooms, with comfortable beds. We loved the pool area with sofas and dining area and especially the lovely view with the surrounding garden. We felt well prepared before we arrived with information about the villa, the area and Antigua and we were well looked after by the local teamfor anything we needed help with during our stay. We would definitely come back again. Many thanks!

Enjoyable time in Antigua

The house was exactly as described and very clean. The management company was communicative and available to answer questions, arrange transportation, etc. We rented golf carts which made getting to the beach very quick and easy, although you can also walk. Easy access to grocery, restaurants, beach. Very nice place!

Great location to beautiful beach

Calabash Villa was ideally located with less than 10 minute walk to beautiful Jolly Beach, restaurants and grocery store. The villa was spacious with large bedrooms and eat-in kitchen. While the living room was a bit small, we hardly spent time in it and opted to sit outside on beautiful patio. Both the owner Alan and property manager Jovanna were gracious hosts and responsive to all questions.

Fabulous holiday

Having stayed in this location 6 times, Villa Calabash turned outbto be the best so far! It was so pretty, newly decorated, great location 2 minute walk from Jolly Harbour. The bedroooms were all large with lotsnof wardrspace. Master was en suite and we had 2 more showernrooms.

Brilliant villa and island. The villa was spotless and very well equipped. Jovanna was extremely helpful and responsive Close to Jolly Harbour and also a few great restaurants. Loved the beach at Fyffes. Would highly recommend staying at Calabash.

Before settling on Antigua for a holiday home we considered many places, eventually checking out Antigua which ticked all our boxes, English speaking, warm and sunny all year round, beautiful beaches and scenery and friendly people. We furnished the villa to create a modern, light, spacious design that lights up as the sun shines in through the many windows. We always feel uplifted whether in the villa, on the deck, in the pool or on the beach, the blue sky, turquoise sea and lush greenery colour everything.

We bought our villa in 2007 and we have been visiting ever since often with our two grown up children and their partners and granny who absolutely love Antigua. We often spend Christmas and New Year in Antigua and would recommend Sailing week (late April) and not forgetting Carnival ( August). Calabash is ideally positioned with all the conveniences of Jolly Harbour Marina and with several beautiful beaches within minutes. For those wanting to explore the Island's many sights, travel north to the colourful St. John's, Fort James and Dickinson Bay or turn south along the scenic Fig Tree drive to Falmouth Harbour, English Harbour and the historic Nelsons Dockyard.

You do not need to have a car to enjoy our villa, being within walking distance (5 mins) of Jolly Harbour with it's restaurants, bars, shops and golf course, beautiful Jolly Beach (8 mins walk) & Valley Church Beach with beach chairs, sailing etc. For those wanting to explore further you can hire a car from Jolly Harbour for a few days and see the many sites and history of the island. On returning to the villa after time on the beach you can cool off in the pool, enjoy the sun loungers with drinks and look forward to your own BBQ as the sun sets.
There is a Management team who are happy to help you with any sight seeing arrangements and assist you during your stay at the villa.
