Great Location
We stayed about 5 days in the middle of our trip. The apartment was exceptionally clean and the furnishings were comfortable. The location in the middle of a professional neighborhood was quiet in the evenings and nights. Transportation was easy, with a taxi stand a couple blocks away and public transport not much further. There was some light street noise during the day in the basement apartment. The washer (which is technically also a dryer), which we desperately needed at this point in our trip was adequate for washing, but drying was a bit of issue. Even with the supplied drying rack, we needed to purchase a couple of fans to get our clothes dry - a process which was far from expedient. The fans we purchased came in handy also because there is zero ventilation. Heat is supplied in-floor and despite the claims of that also giving cooling, it just wasn't so. While the days we were there had highs around 17, the apartment never fell below 22 even though we set for cooling as low as it would go. Kitchen utensils were rather spartan, but workable. Most folks never cook on vacation and there are many wonderful walkable restaurants in the area. The only other downside is that the second bedroom (and bath) is really only adequate for one person. My wife and I stayed in it because my DiL requires a tub. Were we any taller (or wider - as many Americans are) it would have been impossible for 2 and tight for 1. Two children would be fine.
