Simple Mid-Century Elegance with Private Pool

The home's classic Mid Century post and beam architecture, high ceilings, and numerous windows allow an abundance of natural light into the premises.
Fire up the BBQ for dinner outside. Soak in the above ground hot tub. Enjoy the beautiful and private pool or lounge in one of the many seating areas poolside. Yard is fully fenced, gated and private. Enjoy the mountain view while lounging by the pool and at night you can watch the tram go up the mountain from the back yard.
Gated entryway with off-street parking.
There is a beautiful heart shaped pool in the main yard, which is for the exclusive use of guests. Pool is private. Above ground hot tub is heated year round. Pool can be heated from November 1 to February 28 at an additional cost of $50 per day (minimum of 2 days).

We are also a VRBO Superhost, this property and process is why VRBO exist. Clean, beautiful home. Host was great with communication and dinner recommendations were spot on. We loved spending time at the pool early before exploring the area in the afternoon. We are East Coasters and the area is amazing to explore.It probably is obvious we had a great time and this property was an integral part of this trip.

I would def come back again. I came with a friend and my dog as nearly the last stop on a cross country move to LA. We couldn't quite move into our house so we stayed here for a week. I loved it! It was very hot in Aug, but the pool and AC helped a lot. My friend only stayed a couple of nights. The place was a great for me and my dog, especially to do some laundry, repack, cook some meals and dip in the pool (just me!).We will def be back!

The Hollywood House was everything we imagined it to be and more! My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with relaxing getaway here and loved everything about the property. We are huge fans of mid century modern design so we loved the entire aesthetic -from the furniture and books, to the awesome art posters and vintage photos around the house. The pool was fantastic and was just what we needed. The house was very clean and well stocked. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. We can tell that this property is loved and well cared for. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to staying here again.

Second time staying here - again, did not disappoint! Super clean. Can’t beat private pool with relaxing floaties; I was on all day. Again, my pup had the time of his life. Very private. Beautiful mountain sunsets from backyard. Easy parking. Tons of outdoor furniture you can lounge on. Has everything you could ask for. Like I said last time- we’ll be back! Thank you!

We absolutely loved this property! Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated (cool retro vibe), and had such a wonderful fresh smell inside that immediately made it feel welcoming and relaxing.The pool area was amazing — we spent so much time out there enjoying the Palm Springs sunshine. The location is also fantastic, super convenient and close to town, making it easy to get around and explore everything nearby.This place truly checked every box. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Palm Springs!

One of the cleanest, well-appointed places we’ve ever stayed. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t at the home. Our Host was lovely to work with and we will be back next year. You can’t beat a private pool!

Perfect place for my boyfriend and I for the weekend, it met all our expectations! We loved the convenience of having our own entrance to go in and out from. Everything about this place felt so comfortable from the bed to the kitchen that was stocked with all dishes we needed, plus the chilled wine and glasses in the fridge upon arrival was the sweetest gesture.

Great location, not right downtown but 1.5 mile bike ride or walk to shops and restaurants. It’s so clean and well organized. KPods, a French press is available too. Linens and bed were very comfortable. Water pressure was excellent. And the pool… ahhh so nice. We’re from Seattle so we soaked up as much sun as we could. Everything was so well thought out, wouldn’t change a thing.

Guest house was built for Elizabeth Taylor and Eva Gabor that came to visit the second home owner. It is very spacious and has the same Mid-Century Modern architectural style as the main house.
The neighborhood is a time warp from the 1950's and 1960's. It has been beautifully restored.

Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking (I had a restaurant so I know what that means). Very spacious property both inside and outside. Private yard with private entrance from the street.
Property is fully fenced and designed to offer you maximum privacy. Enter through an electronic gate and enter your private oasis.
