Cotton Bay cottage is a unique space in a beautiful place where the whole family can relax and have lots of fun. We invite you to embrace island life here. It’s pure tropical living with lots of style. Located in a peaceful cul-de-sac just a pebble’s throw from the popular surf spot Freights Bay which is the No 1 surfing spot in Barbados. Enjoy the panoramic sea view from the deck, garden or indeed the master bedroom and living room.
Cotton Bay Cottage is a beautiful seaside cottage that can comfortably sleep six persons with a large, gorgeous, front garden of over 4500 sq foot. with sweeping views over the Caribbean Sea which enables you to indulge in outdoor living. It’s private and fully fenced so the little ones and pets can play quite safely. In the garden there is a pergola where you can sit and enjoy the sunset with a rum punch in hand. Sun loungers for you sun lovers and table and chairs for alfresco dining. The garden is beautifully lit with lots of stringed twinkling lights for that magical feel or you can just lay on the lawn and stargaze at nights with a bottle of wine nearby of course.
Leading out from the master bedroom and the living room is a fully covered wooden deck with spectacular sea views for more alfresco dining and hammocks and lounge chairs to just chill in.
Open plan living room with a 65” smart TV, dining table for 6 persons and a fully equipped kitchen with lots of space for everyone to enjoy.
En-suite master bedroom with California king bed, lots of cupboard space and a fantastic view of the sea whilst sitting up in bed.
Second bedroom has a king sized bed which can be configured as two twins bed if desired , a smart TV, lots of cupboard space and a large bathroom adjacent to it.
Then there’s a double sofa bed in the living room.
The house is fully air conditioned and there are also ceiling fans throughout the property, plus insect screens on all window and doors, a safe deposit box, and a washing machine. We are all about responsible tourism so we’ve embraced sustainable and renewable ways to keeping our beautiful island clean and green
To this end all AC units are operated by meters which use tokens.
You're provided with a free token per occupied bedroom for each night that you're staying with us.
The open plan living, dining and kitchen area also has AC and you can purchase additional tokens if desired.
Each token will enable you to use the AC for 8 hours. If you require more tokens they can be purchased at a cost of US$10/BDS$20 per token in CASH from us.
Extra person charge is US$35 per person, per night after the first 4 guests. Maximum of 6 guests
Weekly Housekeeping is mandator. On the day of housekeeping service we ask that you leave the house for at least 3 hours so that the housekeeper can safely clean and change your towels and linen.
We provide you with a complimentary starter pack which includes toilet paper, kitchen roll, garbage bags, shampoo & conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, washing up liquid etc
Please be sure to turn off the AC, fans and lights and close all windows and doors when you go out so that if it rains nothing gets wet
No open flames, burning of candles and/or incense anywhere in the house, on the wooden deck or anywhere on the property. With the exception of the BBQ grill which must be used in the garden only.
GUESTS ARE ALLOWED ONE PET (CAT OR DOG) NOT WEIGHTING MORE THAN 10 LBS
There is a Pet Cleaning Fee of US$120 for the cleaning and sanitising of the apartment
Please come equipped with a carrier and bedding so that your pet does not sleep on the beds or furniture
Your pet must be supervised at all times and must not be left in the house unattended to prevent any possible damages. You will be held responsible for all property damages resulting from your pet. If there is anything that you think can be damaged or scratched by your pet, let us know so that we can remove it.
It is your responsibility to clean up after your pet. Be it fur, dropped pet food, litter etc., the house must be kept sanitized at all times.
Pet waste should be cleaned up as quickly as possible. It's more sanitary than waiting and reducing problems with odour. This goes for waste in the garden/yard or if your pet has an accident in the house.
Please bring disposable pet poop gloves and waste bags for the responsible disposal of your pet's litter
We ask that you respect our neighbours by ensuring that your pet does not bark or create any disturbances.
