We had a wonderful time. The host was excellent and assisted us with arranging travel troughout our stay. Thr apartment was clean and well stockrf with essentials. Prefect place to stay while visiting.

The apartment was in a perfect location, within walking distance of some of the most amazing places. The neighborhood was very safe. The apartment was spacious and the fact that it has three bathrooms was a big plus. My only suggestion would be to have the shower doors fixed because none of the closed properly. They seemed to be stuck. Also, the closet space was too limited. We stayed at the apartment for 11 nights so we had plenty of clothes to store in cabinets. The owner was very accommodating, answering all our queries and allowing us to check in early. We had a wonderful time in Rome.

Perfect for a summer visit to Rome

We visited with friends (4 adults, 5 kids) and were grateful for the a/c after long walks around Rome. The checkin process was easy (with the help of Google translate) and Valentina was very accommodating. Two of the beds were pull out couches, so fine for the kids, but we were expecting something else based on the pictures. There were some things around the flat that were in need of repair, but nothing that impacted our stay too terribly. We did discover that running the oven and stove at the same time would flip the breaker, so some tips posted clearly would have been helpful. Ultimately the location, consistent a/c and giant screen for the kids to watch movies on when it was too hot to be outside made this a spot we would consider again for a summer visit to Rome.

Im not sure how to start because I have never left a poor and disappointing review.So Ill start with the disappointing points. This place is in a Basement of a building. High ceilings but No windows and Fire Escape would be a problem. Front door only entrance, High non functioning windows. They show a patio that you only can enter thru an exterior alleyway. You Can Not acces from the apartment. Gated and locked. Dirty filthy area with No cushions. Mold would be my first thought. The Bedrooms were deceiving. We had 5 adults. Plenty of room with couches that pullout.The One Bedroom they show is Off the Kitchen. No closets, Talk about claustrophobic. That bathroom was a sharwd bathroom in the hallway. 2 Bathrooms had Shower door that were non functioning. They jammed and didnt close. All the showers had Mold.... I took pictures of all the issues. Holes in the walls in A bathroom and kitchen. Dirty walls. The Wifi was out fir the furst 3 Days. 2 business men had no access to be productive. They had to go to the nearest cafe. The service came on Day 4. The wires in the wifi area were a mess and if anyone had kids, This would have been a Bigger issue. No mention of this place in a basement. They mentioned a dryer, Just a washer available. I onky saw 1 functioning hair dryer. 2 of 3 were available. Now as Im trying to find anything positive, here it is, Close proximity to the taxi Walking was possible to most sites.Victoria our Host was as available as she could.

Dirty and not accommodating

I'm not one to complain usually; however, after communicating my concerns to the property owner, he blamed me for not bringing these issues to his attention. I was specifically asked to only communicate with Valentina, the collaborator. Arriving at the property Valentina said she did not have a voice and she did not explain anything other than pointed at the keys and showed the key for the patio door. The master bedroom had a pair of men's underwear in between the comforter & sheets that did not belong to any of the men with me. The towels in the back bedroom had a mildew smell, we ended up buying some. The air con would not turn on and when communicating with Valentina she was unwilling to come to the residence & help fix it promptly as she stated she was not in Rome. When Valentina did say she would come, she never showed up. All of the ways explained for the air to come on did not work. Or Valentina would simply not respond at all. We went 4 of our 5 days without Air Con. The electricity went fully out when the breaker was tripped & struggled to get a response until Valentina realized we were fully out of electricity. Valentina speaks very little English so on Facetime attempting to find the breaker box was a struggle. After the breaker was tripped a second time the following day & we got it back on, the Air Con finally turned on. This property has potential to be great should the owner be more involved and attentive to how his property is being cared for.
