The Cubby Hole, a ground-floor apartment, consists of a open-plan living, kitchen and dining area with seating for four people, an electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher. Smart TV, central heating and a woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of one king-size (zip/link) and a super-king-size, serviced by a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. Outside, there is a private non-enclosed front terrace area with furniture and off-road parking for one car with EV charging available. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, but sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop in 0.1 mile, a pub in 0.2 miles and the beach within 0.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Cubby Hove is the perfect place to be for your seaside Cornwall escape. Please note: During July and August, the property only allows weekly bookings with changeovers on Fridays.

Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: The most westerly village in mainland Britain, Sennen has a lovely mile-long beach of pure white sand and is a very popular holiday destination. With excellent surfing conditions, the village has its own surf school – overlooked by a super-cool beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the wonderful views. Once a hub of smuggling activity, Sennen still retains many secret passages – one of which is said to lead to the covered well in the Old Success Inn. Largely unchanged over time, this lovely village has a timeless appeal and is home to a gallery, a medieval church, an Iron Age fort and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachware, gifts and souvenirs, and a range of groceries. There is also a weekly Farmers’ Market in the village Community Centre each Tuesday morning. During the summer, the beach bar becomes a hub of activity and entertainment, with live music, weekly barbecues and popular surfing competitions.
