Ocean views draw you in the moment you enter Chyandour. A comfortable beachside home from home with a spacious living area and double doors opening onto a small deck and grassy area which enjoys stunning views of the Atlantic. With comfortable seating which takes in the views, Chyandour is a great place to sit and enjoy sunsets over St. Ives, or stargaze the clear Cornish skies.

With three bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 single), shower room and comfortable open plan living/dining space and well-equipped kitchen, Chyandour offers accommodation for up to five guests. Whether you're walking the coastal path, enjoying the beach with its dramatic dunes, coves, cliffs and cafes or a water sports enthusiast, Chyandour is a great place from which to explore St. Ives Bay and beyond.

Entrance door leading to:
Shower room - Double electric shower, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Living Space - Large open plan triple aspect space, bay window with double doors opening onto deck and grass overlooking park and views to St. Ives across the Bay.
Kitchen - Range of cupboards, oven, hob, extractor fan above, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer. Dining table and bech seating.
Living Area - Large sofa, two easy chairs, coffee table and TV, plus fabulous views of the Bay.
Bedroom 1 - Double bed, bedside tables, storage, hanging space and wall mounted heater. Window overlooking park.
Bedroom 2 - Double bed, bedside tables, storage with hanging space and small chest of drawers. View over park.
Bedroom 3 - Single bed (3'), bedside table, storage with hanging space.
Outside - Grassy area to front. Parking at foot of the dune with concrete path leading up a moderate slope to the property.

A £100 security deposit is charged on each booking. The refund to be made during the week after departure following inspection.

Before we retired, we ran our own popular four-star guest accommodation for 20 years and take great pride in making Chyandour a home from home. Come and find us in our on site office open 9 am-5 pm Monday - Saturday and 9 am-1 pm on Sundays, from maintenance to housekeeping, travel tips and directions, we're here to help! There is a 24 hour out of hours contact number for us too.

The Location
The holiday park is one of the oldest in the country, with the first chalets constructed in the early 1920s. Now a beautiful site with a vast range of unique, quirky and privately owned accommodation, including beach chalets, bungalows and lodges. Many have stunning sea views and all are within a few minutes walk of the beach.

On the doorstep
Walk the coastal path at low tide all the way along the beach from Hayle river mouth to the Cliff tops of Godrevy and the surf break at Gwithian where you'll find great food and drinks from cocktails to coffees, ice creams and fresh seafood at the local cafes and restaurants.

For those seeking surf, beginners to experienced surfers and bodyboarders can enjoy doorstep breaks at Hayle Rivermouth and Mexico Towans, both within walking distance of the park. Paddle boarding and kayaking on the Estuary, as well as kitesurfing and windsurfing are popular all year round.

Hayle is home to the RSPB Hayle Estuary Reserve, Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary, Hayle Lido, ice cream parlours, gift shops, great food (including Cornwall's best Pasties from Philps), pubs and supermarkets.

Further Afield
Take the coastal train from Lelant to St. Ives, and visit The Tate & Barbara Hepworth museums. Visit Newlyn Harbour and Fish market for the best in Cornish Fish. Wander around the historical market town of Penzance, taking in the Harbour and Egyptian House or take a day trip to Lands End and coastal walk to Sennen Cove.

Find your way to Knill's Monument and Steeple Woodland Nature reserve, a 40 acre public open space which overlooks St Ives Bay before making your way down to Carbis Bay for fabulous food, drinks and it's sheltered beach.
Cornwall has always been a favourite of artists, writers and film producers and its rugged coasts and beautiful coves have featured in numerous films and TV series most recently, the popular Poldark series. Winter stays at Riviere Towans
Riviere Towans is a great choice for your winter break, but it's also the period that our owners tend to build and renovate, and when essential land maintenance and roadworks are done. Disruptions and sound may affect neighbouring properties, so please get in touch with us before booking if you are concerned.

The winter season runs from the 1st November until the 1st April OR a week before Good Friday, whichever is earlier.

All the properties we manage are self-contained and self-catering. All the kitchen equipment you will require for your stay is provided in the property. All properties include a microwave, TV, iron and heating to name but a few of the basics. A large number also include washing machines but do check the property particulars above.

Please note: This property requires a £100 security deposit (payable with the balance). This is refundable after your holiday pending any damages.
