We aim to provide a strategic base for those who wish to experience this region while appreciating nature and taking in the finest sights that history has bequeathed to us: the Abbey of Follina, Castelbrando Castle, the Molinetto della Croda, Collalto Castle, and the sites of World War I. But La Casa di Abe is also an ideal base for those seeking a location between the sea near Venice and the mountains of Cortina and the Dolomites, both of which are just a short drive away, as is Treviso—named the European Green Capital for 2025 and mentioned by Dante in the Divine Comedy with the famous line, “…where the Sile and Cagnan rivers meet,” which alone conveys why it is still called “Little Venice” today.
