The bottom lock on the door is very tight - it took 5 minutes to unlock the door on most occasions.Secondly, the apartment overlooks a carpark. This carpark was the meeting point each of our 3 nights for all rev heads to park their cars, rev their engines and do burnouts from 10pm to 2am.

Great place and location, beautiful apartment. Just be careful with management company access to keys and check in time, will charge premium for earlier check in and check in time with this management is 3pm. We had been delayed check in at 3pm and we’re not able to check in until 4pm after contacting company were able to access earlier… (reasons unknown, but supposed reason being that key was unable to be accessed by cleaning company. Would normally have been fine just that the later than usual check in and availability delayed us with getting access to apartment to prepare for an evening function. Overall very comfortable, and nice property excellent value, parking available on street, very convenient and close to tram, cafes near street, fish and chips downstairs. Excellent washing machine, drier, iron. Ensuite suitable for bath, however recommend common shower for use. No curtains to block light in all rooms, only shutter style louvre on doors. Cleaners did miss some rubbish left by previous guests on balcony and can of cigarette. Windows get dirty from the salty air, but easily cleaned with available gear if need be. Great central heating and cooling, very comfortable and excellent quality appliances available. Thank you to the owners for a lovely property, well respected apartment in very good condition.

The apartment itself is nicely furnished and in a good location, which is why this review is difficult to write. Unfortunately, the overall experience was undermined by communication failures and maintenance issues.Before booking, I contacted Belvilla to confirm that the key would be available on site. I was explicitly told this would be arranged. After booking, I was sent instructions from a different company (MadeComfy) stating that the key had to be collected 3.5km away. When I raised this, Belvilla again confirmed in writing that the key would be available at the apartment. This turned out not to be true.I received no response to multiple follow-up emails, and eventually had to search online for MadeComfy’s contact details myself. They had no knowledge of Belvilla and no visibility of the promises I had been given. In the end, they arranged for the key to be moved to a location 1.1km away, which I still had to walk to in hot weather while travelling with five large suitcases.On arrival, several issues further detracted from the stay:The AC didn't work, a toilet seat was broken, both balconies were extremely dirty, there was no soap, no dishwashing liquid and no rubbish bags provided.None of these on their own would have ruined the stay, but together, they created the impression of poor communication, weak management and a lack of attention to detail.It’s a shame, because the apartment itself has a lot of potential.

Dieser Parkplatz diente uns drei Nächte lang als Treffpunkt für alle Auto-Fans, die dort ihre Wagen parkten, die Motoren aufheulen ließen und zwischen 22 und 2 Uhr nachts Burnouts veranstalteten. Das war sehr störend.
