The oldest parts of the house date back to the 15th century and was built using the granite from the property itself. There are a total of 10 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms including 1 full bathroom at the swimming pool. 2 of these bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are in the Clock House. Each room is finely decorated and filled with antiques. There is an enormous tapestry lined salon/drawing room with walk in fireplace, two libraries, dining room and very large fully equipped kitchen and pantry. The house has been restored to a very high standard and the rooms are both elegant and comfortable. This house is perfect for families and entertaining. There is a 18 metre long salt water pool, designed to blend in with the surroundings and a large lake, with kayaking, canoeing and fishing facilities, less than one kilometre away. Guests who enjoy cooking will be thrilled with the full range of cooking hardware as well as the professional La Canche cooker.
