Enter through the classical column portico draped in wisteria to discover elegant drawing rooms, characterful dining rooms and spacious king size bedrooms all styled with the greatest attention to detail. Every corner of this home tells a story through the artwork, textiles and decorative pieces collected during the owners travels around the world. With several spaces to gather socially for dinner or drinks, this property offers wonderful opportunity to reconnect with loved ones and enjoy an indulgent break.

Spread across four floors, each of the five bedrooms are spacious with views of the gardens or hills beyond and two feature their own en suites. An elegant drawing room and sitting room provide a space to relax with working log fires, while the lower ground floor has been cleverly transformed into a formal dining room, perfect for celebrating a special occasion. The beautiful country kitchen has a traditional Aga, large table to gather for breakfast and opens out to the picturesque gardens.

Outside, the breathtaking gardens are a true highlight of this property. Listen to the relaxing sounds of a water fountain as you enjoy leisurely lunches on the patio terrace, explore the rose bush maze and impressive goldfish pond, or from the bottom of the garden you can enjoy country walks for miles. The garden itself is part of the Avebury stone avenue and once had its very own standing stone. Immerse yourself in ancient history with a stay at this truly unique and fascinating house.

Elegant formal drawing room with sofa seating, log fireplace with marble surround and piano. A dining table seating eight overlooks the beautiful gardens through French doors that can be opened to enjoy the scenery as you share a meal.

Sitting Room/TV Room:
A cosy space to watch a movie or simply unwind by the log fire and read a book or magazine.

Ground floor cloakroom with WC and basin.

First Floor

Outside
The extensive gardens are a true marvel. The French doors from the kitchen and drawing room both lead to a large terrace where an outdoor dining comfortably fits ten guests for an al fresco dinner on a warm summer's evening. A water fountain with seating area offers a relaxing spot to read a book. Wander through the mature gardens to discover a romantic rose bush maze and picturesque goldfish pond. Follow an avenue of trees to the bottom of the garden that overlooks miles of countryside and a distant standing stone. This wonderful garden is full of delightful surprises at every turn and will stand out as a very special highlight of your stay here.
