Historic country house in secluded nature

The north of Brandenburg is simply unique. Here, between Berlin and the Baltic Sea, you will find the largest and most beautiful bathing lakes in the state, including the beautiful Stechlinsee in the Uckermark Lake District. It is the largest clear water lake in Germany and is located right next to the nature park, surrounded by a large beech forest with hiking trails that offer a special attraction to experience and discover.

And not far from there you will find the small village of Buchholz, away from the noisy traffic, with only 22 houses and a baroque church, in the middle of the Stechlin Nature Park. And one of these 22 houses is the home of Annette and her husband, lovingly renovated and tastefully furnished.

Here, country house style meets modern elegance, stylish furniture made of wood and metal meets tasteful art, illuminated by the sunshine that shines comfortably into the house through the large windows. The 160-year-old fieldstone building combines historical details with modern furnishings, offering you a rustic country feel and yet modern comfort.

There is plenty of space for up to four people in two spacious bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. It is therefore the perfect house for couples or a vacation with friends.

The large living area with oak floorboards and antique library, the open fireplace and the adjoining, large kitchen invite you to linger and dream. Here you can relax and read a book, play games or cook together in a dreamlike atmosphere.

The Finnish sauna with a panoramic view of nature provides an extra dose of relaxation with a feeling of luxury - you can look directly into nature from every room and are completely undisturbed, as the house is detached on a 6,000 m2 plot surrounded by meadows and forests.
