It’s rumoured that Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor partied here when filming in the 1970s. Goodwick is twinned with neighbouring Fishguard, so there’s a shared celebration of food, sports and natural heritage. Find garden inspiration at the idyllic Dyffryn Fernant Garden (4.5 miles), discover The Last Invasion Tapestry gallery in Fishguard’s Town Hall (1.5 miles), and dine out and watch a show at the Theatr Gwaun (1.5 miles). Or venture down to dog-friendly Goodwick Sands (0.5 miles) and look out for seals bobbing about in the sparkling sea. You could go wildlife watching at Strumble Head (5 miles), or head east to Dinas Island (6 miles).
