Snuggle up on the sofas while the pup dreams next to the wood burner and catch up on your favourite series on the Smart TV. Wake up to Nespresso coffee in the gorgeous kitchen, equipped with everything you need for self-catering and dine at the funky table and chairs. Head upstairs for a good night’s sleep in the two comfy bedrooms, a king-size and a double, and revive tired muscles with a shower in the stunning shower room. Take your morning cuppa or evening tipple outside and sit in the sun in the yard. The garden shed houses a washing machine and dryer, handy for wet and muddy walks, and you’re welcome to store your bikes in there too.

You’ll find a range of shops, bars, and places to eat out within 300 metres of your front door, and being an outdoorsy place, Fido is welcome to join you in most of them. Visit Derwentwater Marina (2.5 miles) to stroll along the lake shore, rent a boat or go on a cruise to explore the beautiful scenery. This is excellent walking country so take your hiking boots with you, you’ll find Latrigg (1.5 miles), Catbells (4 miles) and Skiddaw (5 miles) all nearby. For an adrenaline rush, hit the mountain biking trails at Whinlatter Forest (4.5 miles).
