This property is located on the quieter side of the island which was nice to get away from the chaos of downtown. We met the owners son and he was very friendly to us. The owners left midweek and the workers did not speak english and we don’t speak spanish, so we didn’t have anyone to ask for things we needed. As far as the casita itself, the view from our room was really nice. And it’s nice having the private beach just steps away. We stayed for 5 nights and they did not change our linens or towels and you have to take out your own trash. They came in one day and made our bed and swept the floors but they did not change our sheets, only made the bed over dirty sheets. The microwave and our lamp did not work. Be sure you wear bug spray because you will get bites inside and outside of the casitas. I have over 40 bites and I wore repellent day and night even while sleeping. The roof isn’t sealed off so it’s easy for bugs to enter. We also had two scorpions in our casita so be sure you watch where you step and check the covers before going to bed. And if you stay in Lee or Sam, you share a wall with the neighbors and you can hear them. The workers did keep the pool area furniture clean daily. Great breakfast place steps away and great lunch place at the end of the cul de sac, don’t let the outside of it scare you. Overall, if you’re looking for a private location without the crowd of a hotel and the buzz of downtown, this is a good option.
