Amazing week full of fun in the sun

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this rental is. The owners are extremely kind and helpful. It’s a wonderful location and was perfect for our family!!!

Close to Beach/Boardwalk

The place itself is nice. Location is close to beach and boardwalk which was my goal, since I didn't want to worry about driving anywhere. The beach access is at a high occupancy area, so it's super crowded. Communication with Ann could have been better. I was hoping for an email a week prior to my arrival, but didn't receive one. When we arrived to the area, 30 minutes before check-in time, it was not obvious where to park (more on that below) so I messaged Ann through the app, waited. Then I called Ann, left a voicemail and waited. Then I texted Ann, no response. This made me super nervous so I parked illegally, put on my blinkers and walked to the door of what I believed was my rental hoping to find Ann there. I opened the door and looked inside. It appeared to be my rental, so I relaxed a bit. Ann came over then to me explaining that she was having issues with the messaging feature in the VRBO app. She told me about the laundry key and that laundry access was around the back. She explained to me that my parking spot was across the street at her primary residence, which ended up working out well. Maybe I've been spoiled by prior rental experiences, but I was hoping for a welcome note that tells you all of the things like, wifi password. We didn't discover that sticky note inside the kitchen cabinet until mid week. The listing stated 11:00am checkout, but on the fridge it was posted 10:00am. The ice maker wasn't on. I didn't know if we should turn it on, so we went and purchased ice cube trays. The electric outlet to the window AC unit was not secure so it kept shutting off. We had to continually reset the AC, try a different plug, and at one point, had to prop something up to it to keep the plug from falling out. It would have been nice to have salt and pepper at the place, as well as coffee filters. I ended up buying a pack of 300 filters for 6 pots of coffee. I left them there for the next person, but having them there would have been nice. Ann and her husband seem like nice people. The property is well cared for and overall we had a good week.

Home away from home

Took the grandkids down for a week and we had everything we needed. Location close which made walking back with toddlers nice and easy. Fully stocked kitchen which saved money on eating out. Nice size rooms came in handy during rain days and with washer/dryer, we didn't come home with loads of laundry. Definitely will be rebooking next summer!!

Excellent stay

Property was well maintained I have a wife who is handicapped and the place was completely handicapped accessible it was spacious clean only complaint is the bed in the smaller room was not comfortable other then that I’d recommend to anybody only 3 blocks from the beach great location.

Apartment is roomy and in an excellent location.

Jim and Ann are great hosts. Communication was never an issue and they answered any question we had. In fact, Jim pointed out amenities we didn’t know we had. I would definitely recommend this place.

The location of the property was absolutely perfect! Everything was in walking distance. Owners made sure everything we needed we had! Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.

Location! Location! Location!

Our stay was great in every level. Jim and Ann were phenomenal hosts and answered every call/question we had. The location was perfect, right up the block from the beach and boardwalk and around the corner from shops and local restaurants. We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future.

Absolutely exemplary!

Me and my friends has had a great time staying in this apartment. Being just 1 block from the boardwalk made it very easy to walk to the boardwalk and back everyday, and the apartment being on the first floor meant no grueling stairs to walk up or down. If you’re looking for a nice, quiet place to stay, this place is for you.
