Casa Mirador-4 Bd with/Pool and Ocean view

Casas de Soleil is a three-acre private property with four vacation beach houses nestled into the Costa Rican rain forest. Our houses are set back 300 meters/yards from the beautiful beaches of Playa Carmen, Santa Teresa, and Mal Pais.

Our private setting is tranquil and spacious, creating a perfect home base to gather the troops and recoup from a hard day of play or simply to relax by the pool. Concierge to assist with your vacation, whether it's a day exploring local waterfalls by quad or walking out to a fantastic beach.

The houses were designed by Colorado Architect Scott Mchale of Cottle, Graybeal, and Yaw of Aspen, CO. With a great vacation feel, large bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, ample and spacious living areas, and balconies.

Bedrooms are furnished with down pillows and good quality linens. The owner has 15 years of experience in five-star hotel management. In other words, these houses have what you need or we get it. You will receive many of the amenities of a hotel, such as Concierge Services, daily housekeeping services, and maintenance staff. Just relax and enjoy your stay, and let The Staff at Casas de Soleil pamper you.

Houses are 300 yards from the beach in the center of Playa Carmen. The property often amazes our guests with the diversity of birds and animals that are seen from their homes or patio. You are within walking distance to a number of restaurants, grocery stores, banks, coffee shops, bakeries, sports bars, and fun shopping. Please feel free to contact us for recommendations for travel as well.

Luxury, convenience, beauty - It's everything

The property is more beautiful than the photos. The view from each floor is more lovely than the next and the decks/porches are perfect for having a cup of coffee in the morning, reading by the private pool and watching the sunset over the Pacific. It is large, extremely well appointed and very comfortable. The house sits right in town, but feels like it is out of the way a bit. So, you get the convenience of being near all the restaurants, markets, surfing, and the beach, while also getting privacy and peace. The property owner is extremely helpful - she never tired of my questions and always offered her advice. She helped arrange amazing day trips, meals and experiences with great people while we were there and answered every question we had before and during the trip. I cannot say enough great things about the property, the area and the owner.

AMAZING

It will be hard to put into words how wonderful this property is. First, I will start by complimenting the owner/manager Soraya. She is quintessential Pura Vida while at the same taking care of her guests every need and always with a beautiful smile on her face. Her daughter Soleil was also at the property while we stayed and took us out on an unforgettable quad excursion. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and extra bonus are the property dogs, Ella, Chici and Stella who will greet you with their tails a wagging :) The property itself, is breathtaking. While you are a very short walk to town and the beach, you feel as if you are set back in the lush jungle. The gardens that surround the property are truly breathtaking. The house itself has all the comforts you could possibly need but you won’t want to stay indoors for long with the relaxing pool just outside your front door. Make sure to head to the roof top terrace to enjoy beautiful views of the ocean and check out the vultures hanging out in the trees. This was my 6th trip to Costa Rica and my 2nd to Santa Teresa. I can assure you, you will not be disappointed in any way if you choose this property. I would give more than 5 stars if possible. Enjoy and Pura Vida!

Beautiful Home in best area of Costa Rica

My husband and I have traveled to Costa Rica many times over the years as it is one of our favorite destinations. We have also traveled all over Costa Rica, concentrating on beach towns and Mal Pais is our favorite. What made this last trip so memorable was the beautiful home that we stayed at during our stay. Casa El Mirador is beautiful inside and very well constructed with attention to detail apparent through out. We traveled this time with friends of ours who have 4 adult children and it was perfect. My husband and I stayed in the suite below while the family was upstairs. This beautiful little suite gave us privacy while still be together with the family. We loved the little rooftop for afternoon relaxing after a day of surfing. The location was also great, just a walk across the street to the best surfing beach for beginners and seasoned surfers, make sure you stay for the sunsets, stunning! The town is charming, with places to stop for ice cream and groceries as well as a sweet bakery to go to each morning for delicious coffee and baked goods. We like to travel to new places but Costa Rica continues to have a special place in our hearts and this home will be the place we come back to. I also believe they have a couple of smaller homes on the property that looked really cute for couples.

Fantastic house, fantastic place, fantastic owners and staff (and dogs)

We (6 Norwegians) stayed at Casa Mirador in November/December 2011. The house was impeccable, really close to beach/surf, shops and restaurants, yet it felt secluded on its little "hill". Staff was friendly and discrete, owners were super helpful and nice. The house is equipped with whatever you may want (at least we didn't miss anything), roof terrace was beautiful and so was the private pool. I really don't know what to say, other than: recommended!
