Fantastic house and hospitality!
Superb Charming Home
The Chicken House looks small
in size from the outside but inside it is very spacious and comfortable with a smart floor plan. The big bonus was the yard where my girlfriends and I spent most of our time relaxing surrounded by a fig tree, peach tree, grape vines and vegetable patch. The chickens are very quiet and mellow. Even the bees kept to their hive. The owners provided many extra gifts to welcome us like milk, eggs, butter and much more! And even granola and honey! They thought of everything! The whole interior was carefully thought out in detail. Very good taste in art as well. The beds were comfortable and linens were very luxurious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to come back and refer friends for future visits. Thank you Larry and Heather. Truly a 5 star rating all the way!
Best Place to Stay with a Family in San Luis Obispo
The house is well located to downtown SLO, in walking distance. The back patio is nice to sit in the morning and very peaceful with the lush greenery and the lovely chickens. The house is very nicely updated and very suitable for a family of 4. Thank you very much to the owners for taking really good care of their rented property.
Loved the location and amenities. Would stay again.
Great location - chickens and granola to boot!
This house is about 3 blocks from downtown in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the ease of walking downtown at night to enjoy the shops and restaurants. The house itself is newly remodeled and very clean and comfortable. The owners left us eggs from the chickens who live in the backyard, honey from the bees who reside there, and homemade granola. Everything was wonderful!
