About Tom Pomeroy
I built my home myself & take a lot of pride in it. I've lived in Ketchum for many years and am active in the environmental community & many community non profits. Ketchum Sun Valley is one of the best places in North America & i'm lucky to call this community my home.
Why Tom Pomeroy chose Ketchum
Living at the north end of the Wood River Valley is incredibly nice. Our end end of our valley has the least traffic, the darkest sky & the best access to the wilderness & wild country to the north. It's only a short drive into he Sawtooth Valley for hiking, skiing & solitude.
What makes this House unique
Private & scenic with incredibly trail access right off the west porch. The Chocolate Gulch, Oregon Gulch & Fox Creek trail system are all accessed just off my west porch. In the summer the catch & release fly fishing on the Big Wood River is excellent & just a short walk away. In the winter the Harriman Trail for cross country skiing is also just a short 1/2 mile drive away. One can hike in the newly created Hemingway Boulder Wilderness area by just a short hop from my garage. It's so close you can even ride your bike to one of the trail heads!
