My sister, niece, daughter and elder mom plan a waterfront getaway every Mothers day weekend.
We are so pleased we decided on Whidbey Island Beach Cottage. Beautiful place with miles of beach and wildlife.
Property manager was quick to respond with questions.
Would definitely recommend!
The beach cottage was very cute, clean and comfortable! We enjoyed sitting on the deck morning, noon and night as there was always something new to observe. The Naval Air Force planes were amazing to see so up close. The location is just minutes away from so many fun attractions. We absolutely loved our stay and Jane was great!

Host responded quickly and I appreciated the fact that she made sure that everything was in order for our stay. The cottage was well-equipped, and it was clear that the host tried to think of everything that might be needed for an enjoyable stay. Cottage was cozy and clean with large windows so the view/sunsets can be enjoyed. Nice deck, comfortable beds and clear directions for operating the thermostats, appliances, TV, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

Thanks Amy and we are so glad to hear that you had a great stay at our house. Since this is our second home, we try to make it as comfortable and supplied as possible. The TV is brand new (January 2021) and the beds have comfort gel mattress toppers on them. We really appreciate your comment that of the 4 short term properties that you had visited within the week in different locations in WA, ours was your favorite place to stay. It really means so much to us when we receive compliments like that and provides encouragement to continually improve the home and amenities. We recently installed new bathroom fixtures from Restoration Hardware and purchased more slipcovers for the couch, which you were able to enjoy as well. Hope your stay provides many good memories for you and your familiy for many years to come. Cheers!
We loved this adorable beach cottage. It was exactly as the property was described. Great location. Amazing view. We saw dolphins out front on several mornings as we drank coffee on the lovely chairs overlooking the beach. And they had an amazing selection of movies to watch, books to read, and games and puzzles to play. Thanks for the lovely vacation!
All of the reviews were right on. Where our visit is different is we had two days of snow. It was beautiful. The best thing were the electric rubberized mats on the stairs and walkway. Melted off all the snow and made it safe. Not what you would expect from a beach review but I think it also goes to show how Jane takes care of her guests.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the beauty of the beach in all seasons. I enjoyed working with you and appreciate that you took care of my home and followed check-out instructions. I do strive my best to make the house welcoming, safe and comfortable for all of my Guests, especially since it is a place that I love to be at as well. Thank you for your review and you are welcome back anytime you need a beach getaway!
This is our perfect getaway from the city. We love coming here and it’s our third visit. The sunny weather was ideal and about ten degrees cooler than in Seattle.
The beach house is adorable with a British and beachy theme interior. It has a large deck that is great spot for yoga, barbecues and relaxing. Great spot for fishing off the beach. Enjoyed watching harbor porpoises and birds. It’s a great place!

Thank you so much Shawn for staying at our beach house and for taking such wonderful care of our home. We would love to host you again anytime you need a beach getaway!
The photos were highly accurate of what was inside--truly delightful. Everything we needed was well-explained with signage near anything we might needed to understand. Close to just about everything on the island, and just far away from the closest "city" to feel like we truly got away. Jane was very communicative throughout the reservation process, and very prompt to answer any question. Thank you so much for a great weekend!
I can’t thank Jane enough for sharing her little slice of heaven with us! The house is adorable, comfortable and clean. The location is stellar with exquisite views and easy access to attractions, restaurants and shops, but really ... why would you want to leave! This host has thought of everything, is very clear in her communications and very responsive. I spent a long weekend here with my sister, so that I could focus on a weekend- long yoga workshop on zoom. It was a perfect place for focusing and relaxing. I can’t wait to go back with my family. Highly recommend!

About the host
Hosted by Jane
This is our second home that is very special and dear to us and we are happy to share it with you. I was born and raised in Colorado and have lived in the Seattle area for almost 20 years with my husband and 2 children.
Why they chose this property
We love living in the Pacific Northwest! It has so much to offer with so many places to explore. Our home is beachfront, just about 60 feet from the back of the house to the water's edge. It's a popular spot for fishing for salmon when they come in to spawn. Coupeville holds a very special place in my heart as there is so much to see and do! Our favorite hike is The Bluff at Ebey's Landing on a bright sunny day where you have incredible endless views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. It's about a 4-4.5 mile loop. Work your way down to the beach and listen to the calming waves. Explore neighboring Fort Casey and the Admiralty Lighthouse! The Keystone Ferry is 2 miles away so bring your bike or your walking shoes, catch the ferry to Port Townsend and spend the day exploring in-town. Check out Fort Worden where the movie "An Officer and a Gentleman" was filmed in the early 1980's. End your day at our cottage watching the sunsets, seals, porpoises and fish jump. Or drive 10-15 minutes into downtown Coupeville for dinner and enjoy eating the fresh and famous Penn Cove mussels.
What makes this property unique
This is a waterfront beach cottage, just steps out to Admiralty Bay. Gaze at the views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains with a glass of wine and let your worries melt away as you hear the waves gently crashing onto the beach. It is the perfect location for a bike ride to the Port Townsend ferry, Fort Casey, the Admiralty Lighthouse or even to the town of Coupeville. You will have everything you need at your fingertips. Just bring a change of clothes, your bike, ingredients for your meals (if you wish to cook) and you and your loved ones. You won't want to leave!
