Tranquille Retreat near Paris

I spent a very relaxing vacation here in June. The apartment is perfectly situated to all the amenities you might need for a stay long or short. In addition, Paris is only 40 minutes by train. You get the benefits of staying in a tranquille retreat with Paris at your doorstep.

We had a great stay

We went the first week of our three weeks trip to France to this nice location. Paris is very good reachable. Both Ingrid and Jacky are very nice to talk to . We really enjoyed the stay there. In the appartment you had really all things you ever need during a vacation. More I would say. A big green garden where you can sit is also mentionable but what I really appreciated is that you can reach Paris, Versailles, Giverny very quickly. We really ejoyed being there.And recommend it to friends.

Points positifs :- Gite propre et très bien situé dans une rue calme et proche de la gare. - Bon rapport qualité/prix- Grande pièce de vie avec lit en 160.- Petite salle d’eau avec douche à l’italienne.- Cuisine fonctionnelle et suffisante pour deux personnes.Points négatifs :- Un seul fauteuil confortable, la deuxième personne devant se contenter d’une chaise de bureau à roulettes.- Dysfonctionnement de certains équipements, mauvaise évacuation du lavabo, plaques de cuisson avec afficheur HS et touches sensitives capricieuses, ampoules grillées de l’éclairage de la hotte. Visiblement les occupants précédents ne signalent pas les petits problèmes rencontrés et aucun contrôle n’est effectué entre deux locations.Nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de rencontrer notre hôte qui était absent ; mais suite à une panne d’électricité j’ai pu faire la connaissance de son beau-frère Norvégien, très sympathique, ce qui m’a permis de réviser l’Anglais !

Bon rapport qualité/prix.Accueil sympathique. Appartement bien aménagé, propre et conforme à l'annonce.Pourrait-être un peu bruyant mais les propriétaires qui habitent au-dessus sont très silencieux.Nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Enjoyable place in a charming village with a very nice couple

I statd here for 6 weeks for work. I found this an excellent facility with all necessary equipment for a longer stay. It is conveniently close to the trainstation and shops. Close enough to Paris yet outside of crowded area. A fully equiped kitchen, small bathroom with toilet, sink and good shower. Large hall and bedroom / livingroom with comfortable bed and space to relax on tbe coach with TV. Sufficient storage space to house 22. All in all I would be happy to return agsin for a longer stay.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l'appartement de Jacky et Ingrid Delafontenelle à Marly le Roi. Les propriétaires très accueillants et chaleureux ont mis à notre disposition un appartement impeccable, très fonctionnel, à la décoration soignée. Un grand merci pour tout ! Incursion familiale en Ile de France

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette location et avons apprécié cette charmante maison dans la verdure ! La campagne à quelques kilomètres de Paris, St Germain en Laye et Versailles très proches avec une gare à moins de 10 mn à pieds ! Tout le confort nécessaire est prévu et un calme absolu ! c'était un lieu idéal pour rendre visite à notre famille et la proximté de la Gare pour se rendre à la Capitale... Logement très agréable

Le logement est très agréable (mieux que ce à quoi je m'attendais). Bien que je n'ai pas pu rencontrer les hôtes, tout a été fait pour que l'accueil, le séjour et le retour soient parfaitement réglés. La disposition géographique est idéale, et la proximité du train n’empêche pas la tranquillité dans le logement. Je recommanderai ce logement ou j'y reviendrai.

Wonderful Stay

A very comfortable 10 day vist. Convenient to grocery store, restaurants and local events and attractions . Easy train into Paris. Jacky and Ingrid are welcoming hosts and have created an ideal accomodation. I had a varied agenda - see friends in the area, go into the city, do some writing, while taking in new sites. It all worked. This is a great place to base.
