We appreciated the renovation, which respected the traditional architecture and the huge exposed beams in the living room. The view over the property is totally unobstructed. The apartment is located in a neighbourhood of Montpellier with the biggest number of sites and monuments that are all easily accessible on foot. On one side, the Arc de Triomphe, the royal square of Peyrou, and the botanic garden that was created upun request of Henri IV. On the other side, Saint Peter’s Cathedral, Canourgue Square, and Mikvé. Just next to it, you can find the Medical School and the Anatomy Museum, the Courthouse, and the City Hall. Foch Street, the place to go for high-class shopping, and Loge Street, both located two steps away, take you to Comedy Square that is still called « the egg » by the old citizens of Montpellier and to the vast Esplanade and Corum-Congress Centre and Opera. Twice a week, the Arceaux market will entertain those who love colours and the smells of midday. On Sundays, the exposition of antiques takes place at the royal square of Peyrou. The parking space that is located nearby allows you to enjoy all the tourist attractions of the area, as well as the beach, which is very close. Montpellier gives direct access to the sea with the beaches of Palavas and Grande Motte. In the east, you can visit Aigues Mortes and the Camargues with its salt plains and flamingos. In the west, you can go to Sète and the lake of Thau for tasting oysters.
