Velkommen til vores komfortable luksuriøse Kana'i a Nalu (Gentle Surf) Condo i stueetagen i rolig Ma'alaea, ofte kaldet 'Maui's Best Kept Secret'. Beliggende i den ene ende af en fredelig blindveje og foran en uberørt og urolig 3 mil lang strand 120 meter fra din Lanai-dør, venter vores smukke og komfortable condo til din fornøjelse ...
Maalaea-havnen med dens butikker, børnepark og Maui-akvariet samt de forskellige turistbåde ligger ca. 1/3 mile væk ved motorvejen - en lang gåtur eller en kort køretur.

Vores Condo på Ma'alaea Bay er et smukt møbleret og dekoreret 2 soveværelser, 2 badeværelser. Major Remodel done (2007), konstante opgraderinger inklusive 52 'LCDTV, New Master BR-møbler, gourmet køkken komplet med granit tællere, kirsebærtræ skabe og designer apparater. Aircondition, premium fliser i opholdsstue og total ombygning af begge bade (inkluderer tilføjelse af jacuzzi-badekar). Tilføjet også 32 'LCD i Master BR, 27' LCD i BR2, ny super støjsvask tørretumbler. Plantage skodder i BRs, træk nuancer i opholdsområde, gratis højhastigheds trådløst internet. Parkering direkte ved siden af. Vi har lige udskiftet en ny opvaskemaskine og det store soveværelse nye madras.

Family Vacation

This was a family vacation for myself, my husband, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law... the ground floor was ideal! steps away from the pool... the view was spectacular!

Beautiful Artwork

This condo is located at a great location. There is something to do nearby for everyone. We loved watching the whales do acrobatics and the turtles feed along the rocks. If you like to cook the kitchen is nicely updated & you will never find a kitchen better supplied than this one. The condo had lovely artwork which gave it a homey feeling. Unfortunately the condo needs fresh paint and updating of the living room furniture. The linens for the queen bed were in dire need of replacing. They had holes in them and the elastic on the fitted sheets no longer existed. The carpets need replacement (or a professional cleaning) as well as the sliding door window treatment. I would recommend a stay here but only after the above issues were addressed.

Wonderful spot, would stay again

Overall a great stay. Very quiet location and the grounds are immaculate. Great patio with wonderful view, morning sun and afternoon shade. Pool was nice and the 2 large BBQ’s were great. Kitchen was well stocked with sharp knives, stainless steel pots and pans, and plenty of plates cups and glasses. Coffee grinder, press and drip machine. The condo itself is comfortable but tired and could use some updating. A few things we could suggest is replacing the patio chairs, providing more than 1 beach chair and upgrading the AC unit. Helen was an excellent host, clear communication and when the microwave stopped working she had a new one there the next day. Thank you Helen for sharing your place with us, we will certainly contact you again on our next trip to Maui.

Great location. Lacking household supplies

The condo wasn’t clean, tub hadn’t been cleaned as in dirt on the base of the tub. Kitchen floor had never been swept and we had cockroaches. Shampoo, conditioner laundry detergent had been watered down a lot,3 rolls of tissue paper for 3 ladies for 10 days was not enough and when I asked for more I was told it was up to me and I protested and more was brought to the home. Location was great. .

Great Ocean View and Prime Location

We had a wonderful stay at this condo during our Maui vacation. The highlight was definitely the ocean view and close to the pool area – it’s the perfect spot to relax and take in the island’s beauty. The location is ideal, with amazing beaches just a short 20 to 25-minute drive away, making it easy to explore some of the best spots Maui has to offer. While we did encounter a few roaches, which we understand is common in tropical environments, it wasn’t a major issue for us. The furniture was a bit dated, but overall, the condo was comfortable, providing everything we needed for our stay. If you’re looking for a centrally located, peaceful place to unwind with beautiful views, this condo is a great option!

Calm getaway for our family

We arrived late and had no issue with finding the place or being able to get into the property and settle in for our stay. We had no issues with sleeping. Although we did note that the condo is adjacent to a hallway which does produce wind tunnel like sounds, so a very light sleeper might struggle. We were all fine. The only disappointment was that the retaining wall separating the condo property from the ocean had failed. There is no longer a beach access on the property, so those photos do need to be updated. We were able to walk out to the street and access the local park beach within walking distance. The beach is steep, so small children need to be monitored and stay close to shore but it is a nice little space to play and relax with the other families that seemed to congregate there during our stay. We did have a small issue with the oven. We were able to contact the owner and have it resolved easily as she was very responsive. The AC is a single unit that is not sufficient to cool the entire condo, so the living area can get very cool in order to cool down the bedrooms. There were plenty of fans. The local geckos seemed to take care of most of the bugs, so the place wasn't as buggy as some places can get. Overall, we would recommend this place to others. We also recommend the owner as she did a wonderful job of quickly responding to the one concern we shared.

We stayed for 10 nights in May/June 2024. Overall, this condo is a very good value for rhe money. The unit could use some cosmetic updates, but it is accurately reflected in the listing. The master bedroom mattress and shower were great! The kitchen is fully stocked..we did almost all our cooking here, the only thing we couldnt find was measuring cups/spoons, but most people probably don't cook as much as we do on vacation! The patio sliding door and screen are in need of maintenance/repair..they were difficult to use. One downside is that the HOA president was not friendly, especially towards children/teens. There were excessive rules about the pool and grounds which pretty much ruled out anything kids could do outside. This is fine, if thats the property's rules, but it should be disclosed before booking. The beach access is down the block, not directly in front of the building. Its an easy walk (no busy roads) We enjoyed the easy access being on the first floor and felt very safe.

Absolutely loved staying here during our family trip to Maui for 8 nights, and would definitely stay here again. The ground level lanai was perfect with kids who wanted to be outside constantly and get in the pool and beach. Location is great in central/south Maui and a fairly short drive to everything. It was perfect. Only complaint was the back sliding door is difficult to open and close even for adults.

Best Possible location

We absolutely loved this condo. The location was perfect. 20 minutes from the airport and close to all major highways. I don't think we missed a beach or hike. Did the road to Hana and both of the mountains. Took an amazing whale watching tour out of Lahiana. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. Beach chairs, boogey boards and coolers. We can't wait to go back.

Wonderful stay

My wife and I and our adult son stayed here for a week and we all had a great time. The unit was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The location, pool, complex and grounds and view are fantastic.

Family Christmas holiday

This was our 11th stay in 21 years. We always go to this condo complex. This was the first time staying in the ground floor unit, very convenient. Not the greatest ocean views, but we just sat out on the grounds more often. We love being in the Maalaea area, very close to everything.

Perfect Maui Home Base

This was a perfect place for our week of adventures in Maui. Central location, easy parking, quiet and secure. Ground floor is super convenient and felt private and safe. Owner was very helpful with our questions and it made for a great vacation. Would do this again for sure!

A Slice of Paradise with Ocean Views!

We had an incredible stay at this Ma’alaea condo! The breathtaking ocean views were the highlight of our trip – waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying stunning sunsets from the balcony made our vacation truly memorable. The pool was pristine, offering a refreshing retreat on sunny days. The cleanliness of the condo exceeded our expectations; it was impeccably maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail truly stood out. From the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy bedrooms, everything was thoughtfully arranged. Our overall experience was awesome, thanks to the seamless communication with the owner and the convenient location. Had a few problems when we first got to the condo but got them fixed.

This is a nice condo but it could use a deep cleaning especially on the floors.

Wonderful location

Condo was beautiful and we had just a short walk to a beach that went all the way to Kihei!! Surfers out every day. Pool was just steps away. Grounds crew worked every day to keep the pool and grounds impeccable. Fresh flowers were a nice touch when we arrived. The condo was equipped with everything we could ever need to make our trip perfect. Be sure to ask the grounds crew if you need boogie boards or surf boards to borrow.

We bought another condo in Maalaea originally in 1981 but sold it when our kids were in college. When we could afford it again we shopped all over the island but returned to peaceful Maalaea.
. The beautiful quiet beach, peaceful location, and cooling breezes called us back.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

Since we planned on staying there ourselves a lot, we did some serious upgrading to the place; a flat screen TV in every room and a modern kitchen were a must. We opened up the kitchen so you could see the ocean from there,modernized with cherry wood and granite and installed a whisper quiet Bosch dishwasher as well as a modern quiet washer and drier since we don't want to be disturbed. We love it there and we are sure you will too. Check out our guest book when you visit and leave us your comments
We have also installed a new system that provides free WiFi (with our private security code) and FREE worldwide Long Distance from our in condo phones!
