Well located and easy check in. The bathroom was very small and the shower/tub had missing caulk and was dirty. Only three bath towels, one hand towel, and no wash cloths were provided, so pack your own. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
Was perfect for our quick getaway! We went to a show at Uptown Theatre. The house was super close, which was great! We would have walked had it not been raining. Clean and cozy! Just what we needed.
We enjoyed our stay at the property! The location was great for our needs. The neighborhood is fine for walking around and we never unsafe. The space itself is very roomy. We appreciated some of the vintage details which remained after a remodel. While a couple of areas could use some further finishing, they did not negatively impact our stay.Overall we would definitely stay here again!
Great little place to feel cozy and safe while having fun with the whole family. Loved how close we were to QT for last minute snacks and drinks!

Quaint house in older neighborhood. House is simple, clean, well maintained, a short walk to excellent cafe. And easy access to many attractions. Some nearby properties could use cosmetic repair. Would definitely stay again.
This location is my favorite when I stay in kc, very easy checkin process and the place is always clean! Love the jetted bathtub!

This was our second time staying at this property, as it is close in proximity to our daughter's home in the Volker neighborhood. I guess I remembered it more fondly, enough to book it again, but I'm afraid to say that three years seems to have taken its toll somewhat, and it is definitely in need of a zhuzh up. As with most of these rental properties, the owners typically buy a home, do a quick reno, and photograph it while it's fresh and newly decorated. Several years and numerous visitors later, the place begins to look worn. And in this case, it seems that no care has been taken to maintain the interior. The bathroom, in particular, needs a good coat of paint or two...and much more. The shower curtains were pink with mold and smelled. The water pressure in the shower was actually decent, but the ants climbing the shower walls made it quite unpleasant. Additionally, there was no lamp on one side of the bed, and neither of the lamps in the LR were functional, as they were both missing their on/off knobs. And while the property does offer a washer/dryer, note that it is in the very creepy, unfinished basement. Also note that there is a separate rental unit upstairs, so you may have someone walking around above you. In our case, the upstairs neighbor was lovely and very mindful, so it wasn't a problem-just a note.I'm disappointed that the property didn't work out for us this time, as the location is very convenient. But we won't be booking this property again in the future.
Beautiful location, neighborhood very close to bars, restaurants and grocery store. Host very supportive and responded quick to any correspondence. Highly recommend this location to everyone.
The host was very communicative and provided a binder in the home, which was nice to have. The cleaning requests were reasonable and didn’t take any time really. It is an older home, so it was a little drafty at times, but having all the space was really preferable to having three people crammed in one hotel room. And the heat worked well, so we found the right temp to keep us comfortable. It is nicely decorated, lots of pillows on the beds and couch. It was in the perfect spot for me, near the Bell Hospital. Paris Banh Mi is right across the street (love their sandwiches) and other stores and gas stations are all very close. Parking in the back is also nice. One note for people bringing smaller dogs is there are gaps under the fence, so we kept my dog on a leash. She’s only 6 pounds so she could have crawled under if she wanted. It really was a great stay and was about 400 cheaper than a hotel room, so we were very pleased.
A friend and I were in KC for an academic conference and found this apartment clean and pleasant. It's near a great coffee shop, a donut shop, and a variety of restaurants. Cute residential neighborhood also convenient to downtown. Comfortable beds to return to and a functional kitchen. Would stay here again!
The house felt cozy and welcoming, very comfortable. You have a little bit of everything right in walking distance and the host is responsive and very helpful. I would stay again without hesitation! Absolutely perfect!
We stayed at this rental while visiting KC for the weekend. It is an older rental but was well kept- clean, everything worked, and was perfect for what we needed. The unit is about 10 minutes from downtown and was within walking distance of various shops/ restaurants. This has become our “go to” rental when we are in the KC area due to location and price
