Lovely weekend place

We enjoyed it very much. The host is super responsive. It had everything we needed and more. Included beach cart and chairs which was very convenient.

Great stay in oak island

The house is very convenient to restaurants and shops. The beach was less than a 10 minute walk. My teenage daughters really appreciated having their own rooms. Having another mirror in the house would have been nice as having just one made getting ready hectic. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in Oak Island.

Perfect Beach Stay!

This was our first time to Oak Island, and Dina’s house was absolutely a perfect place to stay. The pictures don’t do it justice, and what you don’t see, is an awesome mud room off the kitchen with a washer and dryer, double sinks, toilet, shower, and an exterior door to the yard where there’s a outside spigot to rinse off when you come home from the beach. The weather was beautiful, the walk to the beach takes about five minutes, and the porch is great for outdoor eating and just hanging out. We really hope to stay again sometime. Dina was such a super host, even left us a treat box of cookies 😊

Overall experience was good

Location was great, walking distance to the beach which was a plus. Near grocery store very convenient. Water bugs outside but beside that no issues.

Amazing Girls' Trip!

We loved this property! It was a short walk to the beach but we drove since there was public parking so close. We had everything we needed and Dina was very responsive! We didn't have any issues and would definitely stay here again! The only suggestion we have is to add a couple mirrors in the bedrooms since we had all women trying to get dressed at the same time! But I feel these won't be an issue as the remodeling she has been doing is complete!! We greatly appreciate the owner allowing us to stay here and helping to ensure we had a great trip!

Oak Island Vacation

Property was exactly as described. This is my second stay here. Good air conditioning and good mattresses. Very comfortable. This is a quite family vacation spot.

Relaxing vacation

Enjoyed our visit to the beach. Our welcome by the owner was so very nice, and greatly appreciated! The area is clean, friendly and easy to find anything needed. Enjoyed the little shops and visits to the ice cream shop.

Great for basic stay

Darling house that will meet all your needs. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located. The only caution is to know that the floors are not perfectly level. Once you know this and anticipate it, not a big deal, but the first walk down the hall it make take you by surprise.

nice house

We didn't spend a lot of time in the house outside of sleeping so it served its purpose for us. We were able to walk to the beach and were close to places to eat which was what we were looking for.

Girls Beach trip 2021

This beach cottage was the perfect size for our group of 6 for 3 nights!!! The location was perfect & it was stocked with everything we needed including beach chairs & a cart! Dina took great care of our needs during our stay & wasn’t far. There was a power outage our first night. We also had a couple of appliances that went out during our stay. Pretty unusual but they were replaced brand new within a couple hours. Dina took care of everything & even brought us filled croissants from Burney’s & a bag of ice!!! All the girls say they would stay here again!!

Host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check in! Host was also very responsive to all communications. House was overall clean with the exception that master bedroom had 2 stains that looked as if no one had tried to clean. Location was also good

This location was the best for our Fourth of July family time. 1 1/2 blocks from beach and Yaupon Pier. It’s also close to bridge over to Southport. The owner manager was good to communicate with.

Great house

We loved our stay at this beach house! Check in was easy, and the house met our needs; it was clean and well maintained, and just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Beach chairs were even provided! We’ll be going back!

Quiet neighborhood

My husband and I had a great time. Just two blocks from the beach in a quiet neighborhood we could hang out at the beach during the day and play cards on the deck in the evening. We only had to reach out to the host once and she was very responsive.

Great size for a family

There was some garbage left under the beds from the previous renters and the tub had mildew in the jets so I couldn't give my little boy a bath without mold coming out in the bath water. That is my only complaint. It was in a nice area, short walk to the beach, and the house was the perfect size. The beach cart, chairs, and umbrella for us to use was a great added bonus. Would recommend.
