This is a cozy 3 bed 2 bath home within walking distance to the beach, restaurant with a bar, and a local pier. 45 minutes from Wilmington, NC, and 1 hr north of Myrtle Beach, SC. Lots of outdoor things to do, then stop and pick up local caught fish and grill for a fantastic meal using the gas grill available on back porch. This house is able to sleep 9 people. Cable TV in bedrooms and living room. This house is fully furnished, including dishwasher and laundry room with washer and dryer. There is a beach buggy to help transport chairs and toys to the beach if needed in the outdoor building. This is a small island for a coastal living vibe. Come to relax and enjoy yourself by the beach.

Breezy stay at Summertime Cindy

Plenty of room for our family stay, great master bathroom shower, we loved the short walk to the beach even with two six year olds. The kids tried the boogie boards from the shed for the first time and loved it. We enjoyed the front porch too. Cindy was easy to contact during our stay. Thanks for a breezy beach stay at Summertime Cindy!

The property was clean and comfortable for our family of eight. It was conveniently close to the pier and beach access. We loved exploring the dining options in the area. I do wish the fold out mattress in the living room was more comfortable, but overall we rested easy. The outside shower, beach wagon, toys, and chairs was a great bonus! I would bring my family back again.

Beach Trip 2023

Cindy was a great host and got right back with us on a few questions we had. Excellent rental for families especially if you have small kids. Plenty of space. A short, pleasant and safe walk to the beach. Had a wonderful time.

I wish i could live in this house forever it was that nice. The theme of the house the openness of the living home everything about this house is 5 stars. It's about a block from the beach Cindy has beach chairs a cart everything you could want for the beach. If i could give it 10 stars i would i will be coming back next year. Thank you Cindy

Best Beach Stay Yet!

I can't say enough about this property and our stay. Everything was perfect -- the place was clean, spacious, a very short and nice little walk up to the beach, convenient to everything in OKI, Southport, etc. Cindy was the icing on the cake -- great communication, had everything in place for our stay, etc. I want to be selfish and not say anything too great about this spot, b/c we want it all to ourselves :). But, if you're looking for a great OKI spot, you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be back! Thank you Cindy!

Very Clean House

This house was very clean and we could see the owner really took care of this property. It was close enough to the beach and the amenities were awesome as well.

Girls Weekend

The property was renovated well and within walking distance to the beach. Fun decorations in the house. The master bedroom bathroom's vanity was very short and came up to my knees. The home did smell like mothballs or carpet fresh and the cabinets were stained some and sticky. The floor trim was very dirty. The neighbors were friendly and we enjoyed th lighting and very comfortable rocking chairs on the back deck.

Excellent family vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation! House was in a great location and is only a very short safe walk to the ocean. House was very clean and nicely decorated. We really appreciated being able to use the rolling beach cart in the backyard shed. Thank you Cindy for allowing us to spend time together in your beach house.

Fantastic Oak Island Experience!

We had a large group that we split up into several Oak Island properties and this was the absolute gem of the group. It was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything we needed! Also had a beautiful family room with TONS of space where we watched the British Open as it rained- it was delightful. 10/10 would rent again- incredibly grateful for this find. Run, don’t walk to snag this rental! :)

Location is excellent. Close walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping.

We had a relaxed stay at Cindy’s place. The location is excellent. We cooked meals and kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed. The house stayed cool and showers were always hot! Added touch is that fans are supplied in all 3 bedrooms. Loved that linens are included. Description of property is very accurate. Only glitch was the grill - there was no propane when we went to use it.

Great beach house with awesome location

The pictures don’t do this place justice. The living room and backyard are huge. The location is perfect with it only being a few minute walk to the beach. Definitely recommend this place.

Great location and nice home!

The home is one block off the beach and less than a five minute walk (I timed it) to the beach. A breakfast place, two restaurants and the fishing pier are all the same five minutes. The house is older but lots of space to spread out and a nice back deck (the owners even put out a cornhole set for us. Very importantly, the owners was instantaneous in responding to us and very courteous! Nice place and I'd rent it again.

Family trip

Came to Oak Island with some out of state family who were visiting for first time to fish and enjoy the beautiful beach. The main bathroom shower glass door doesn’t fit and smashed several peoples fingers. I cannot believe anyone didn’t report this before. Unfortunately got bit by fire ants that were all over back yard as I tried to turn on lights in back. They were all over yard. The house is convenient to pier and had lots of useful things to use for the beach available. Refrigerator not cleaned of lots of previous food and dishwasher full of dishes.

Perfect little get away

Upon arrival entering the house it smelt amazing through the house,all of the rooms were clean and prepped and ready,back deck area was perfect for settling down after a day at the beach to do some grilling,only complaint might want to bring some bug spray skeeters were a little vicious

Adorable Home very close to the beach

I cannot say enough good things about this adorable home! It was absolutely perfect for my family and me. The living room is very spacious with lots of seating. The outside area is so nice- perfect for grilling out and hanging out on the deck. The outside shower was super convenient and it just a short walk to the beach. The owners are so nice and accommodating! Highly recommend this rental property for you family vacation!

Only at the beach, can you live in a lime green house, with fish all over the back porch, and be “the normal”. When I first saw this house I knew this was the one. The inside was beautifully updated, and just ready for memories to be made! We are slowly making it our dream home and we hope that you feel welcome and comfortable, which will keep you bringing your family back, year after year.

The best benefit is that it is within very short walk to the beach, pier, and two local bars. There is an available cart to haul all your toys and chairs, and then you can come back and grill your favorite fish on the gas grill in the back. The house is in a great neighborhood, with great neighbors.
