About this property
Come to the greatest resort in town!
Located in the heart of Lexington Village, these five acres are beautiful! The land itself is something to enjoy! There are two homes situated on this property. The first home is decorated with a modern twist and the second home is decorated in a more traditional barn style decor. You and your family/friends will enjoy the unique furnishings and decor. Most of all you will enjoy the spacious property where you can walk, play baseball or any sport since there is so much land. At night you can nestle in to enjoy a bonfire or two. Either separately at each home or together under the wonderfully built gazebo. This property is great for a wedding, renew of vows, reunions, showers, or just getting the entire family together. Each home has uniques features. The first home has two bedrooms on the main floor with bath-both queen beds. Nicely decorated kitchen with family room. The second floor has two bedrooms. One with two twin beds and one full bed. The second with a queen bed. This home has a wonderful outside landscape. A large umbrella can protect you from the hot sun in the summer where you can take a nap read or just lay back and enjoy a cocktail with friends. There is a covered porch outside the front of the home as well as decking all around the home to have some quiet get away time.
The second house, called the barn, is quite unique in character. Nicely furnished, the main floor is living space with a laundry room, kitchen, and master bedroom and bath. The second floor has three bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed, the second with two twins and the third with a queen-sized bed. There is a bath and a nice sitting area with an outside deck. There you can see the entire property's beauty and all the activity taking place on the property.
The best part of this property is the pool and gazebo. Nestles in between both homes you will find that you spend all your time there. Closed in on all three sides, the gazebo's opened to the pool. Here you can barbecue, eat, drink, and relax while others may want to take a dip into the pool. If you get bored and want a little more action, you can walk right to the downtown village of Lexington where you will find many unique shops and restaurants. And there is a great park where you can enjoy music in the park on Fridays, unique events on the weekend as well as the beach!

The place was perfect for what we needed. The houses had great amount of space. The outdoor space was where we spent 95% of the time under the pavilion and in the pool. It was so close to town and the beach we were able to walk there no problem. Highly recommend for a larger group!
Pool plus it’s fenced in area was awesome! Outdoor seating for meals was plentiful. Property expansive and beautiful. Only drawback were the uncomfortable beds.
The property was amazing for our group, especially the outdoor area around the pool. Both houses worked great for what we needed, and had all the necessities to cook a good meal.
Would recommend to anyone looking for space for a larger group, and we will definitely look at coming back in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. We are so happy you enjoyed your time, and we look forward to you coming back.
Sincerely, Denise
We had a good week, enjoyed the pool area. Had a photographer come take shots on the property.
The only downside was the internet service as I needed to do some work on the computer and with Zoom meetings.
This was perfect for our family getaway over Labor Day weekend. We had three different families that stayed (16 total) and plenty of space for all. The pool area was where we spent most of our time. It had everything we needed (fire pit, fridge, chairs, tables, and beautiful pool). A festival was going on during the weekend and it was so much fun to be able to walk a few blocks and enjoy the music, farmers markets and Lake Huron. I would highly recommend staying here with a larger group.
This was the best VRBO experience I’ve had! The property itself and all that is on it is amazing. You literally don’t need to leave at all it’s all there! The pool and cabana area is beautiful and has ample seating. The cabin house is so cute and has a massive kitchen. The White House has such cute themed rooms. We all loved our time together at this rental and would recommend to everyone. Hope to return!
The property is beautiful and the pool is fabulous!
I would suggest an information binder in each house for use of appliances, pool lights and fireplace, policy for propane tanks, etc.
Location is great, Lexington is a fun little place.
Room to Spread Out Right in the Middle of the Action!
The place was awesome. The 4 bedroom barn was very cool. The only complaint is that upstairs bedrooms need power outlets and ventilation! The huge yard have us space to play kickball with the kids. But the pool and cabana was the best part of the property. We eat meals out there. Even on a rainy day we stayed out there and played cards while the kids swam in the rain. We also love the proximity to downtown. We walked to the lake, to get ice cream, to go out to dinner, even to go grocery shopping! We will stay here again!
My sibs (12) ages 60-79 thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. Ample privacy, though town was only a short 3 blocks away. This hidden gem boasts two homes and a wonderful salt water pool and a huge pool house/cabana that allowed you to get out of the sun with lots of seating to just chill, take a nap, play cards, read, enjoy a meal, share bottles of adult beverages and have warm conversations. This property was so great that walking to Lake Huron (4 blocks) was a minor attraction. Several bars and restaurants in the short walk featured the over-the-top owners of Wimpy's who are a total hoot. Even closer is a fabulous Ice Cream shop, as well as a Mexican restaurant and a full service A&W rest. Several local and state parks also nearby with beach access in addition to the Lexington town park, beach and marina.
My family really enjoyed this beautiful property. Two houses that sleep up to 18 guest on 5 acres that was well groomed and provided great privacy. The outdoor salt water pool and covered sitting area was fantastic. We spent most of our time in this area day and night. My only disappointment was the pots and pans and knives in both houses. They were very old, damaged, and worn out. The owners only need to invest under $600 to have nice pots, pans, and knives at both houses for the guest renting this beautiful property. As one who loves to cook, this was my only gripe about this property.

Did it’s job
Overall we had a great time at this property as the outdoor area and pool are absolutely amazing!! Definitely felt as if corners were cut during the cleaning process. In the main house both beds on the main floor were damp because of the humidity and lack of air flow in the house. Bugs (dead and alive) were an issue in both houses. Also tried to message the host before booking and after I booked and never received a response.
The property was beautiful. We utilized all of the bedrooms in both houses with our group of 12. The upstairs rooms got a bit stuffy, but the extra air conditioners and fans helped. We had an internet connection issue, but that was resolved very quickly by the owner and the property manager, thank you!!!! We spent the majority of our time in the glorious pool and gazebo area; it was an amazing space that allowed for a group eating area, evening stories around the fire pit, a work space during the day while people swam, and a wonderful shelter even during rain! Town is so close and cute, although we only left twice because we loved the property so much. Our group has known each other for 40+ years and this was our 10th year of going on vacation together; this by far is our favorite rental and hope to come back next year!!!!!!! Thank you!

Inaccurate, but overall had a great weekend
There were multiple (3) king size beds missing and some of our guests had to sleep with strangers or on a couch because of this, no response from property manager before during or after our stay, and a very dangerous floor area in one of the bathrooms in front of the sink. Anyone easily could have fallen through the floor.
Outside of those 3 things, the property was beautiful, it was an amazing location, walking distance to the beach and downtown, the pool was nice, and we had a great weekend.
15 family members stayed here. Upon entering house 1 it was found that the AC was not working. We immediately reached out to the property manager. With in 15 minutes the property manager contacted us and explained he had called a repairman and probably would be the next day before anyone could look at it. We set off to purchase some fans, which the property manager reimbursed us for. By noon the next day the AC was working and no other problems were had throughout our stay. The pool area was wonderful and everybody enjoyed Lexington. The only complaint from us would be that the bathroom had mold under the mat in the tub. Overall we had a wonderful time!
We stayed at these 2 house for our annual Mother/Son weekend, We are 6 moms and 6 college age young men. We have done this trip for 6 years. We enjoyed the property...it is VERY close to town and there is plenty of room. The boys stayed in the barn house and the moms stayed in the main house. The pool and the land are the highlight of this property for sure! We spent both days at the pool and the outdoor area. Very enjoyable! We were able to contact the property owner once we arrived but we did not get an answer to our questions through the vrbo site prior to arrival. Not a big deal. Our only complaints were that the main house bathroom tub really needed to be updated. It was the original tub to the house and the tub was peeling and looked dirty. We also wished that there was another bathroom in the main house. It sleeps 8 but only 1 bathroom. Not a deal breaker but it would have been helpful :)
The pots and pans in the kitchen needed to be replaced badly as well. Overall a nice property!

Property grounds and pool beautiful. Houses not so much.
We enjoyed the pool and area. We tried to only sleep in the houses and got out as soon as possible everyday. The house smelled musty. It was so humid in the house the bedspreads felt wet. There was one pot, no pans. Dryer had to be turned on with a tool and didn’t shut off itself. The bath tub drained slowly and full of black ?. By the time you were showered and ready to get out the tub water covered your feet and wasn’t draining down. BBQ grill gross and propane tank empty. The barn house downstairs was roomy. The bedrooms upstairs were very small, especially 2 of them. No closet space/or anywhere but the floor to put luggage. They all need ventilation, no windows and only ceiling fans and the controls were hard to reach. On 90 degree days it was still hot in bedrooms even with AC and fans. Shower had little water pressure. The electrical kept tripping with only the AC and ceiling fans on. Water was dripping inside the house from AC unit by the stairs. The AC unit in hallway upstairs came unhooked and water went everywhere, plus after examining the air filter was disgusting. The few pots and pans were scratched up and unusable. Neither house had a can opener that worked. The grounds were beautiful but the homes need a lot of work to be comfortable and clean. Very disappointing for the amount of money we paid. Very disappointing
We spent 5 nights here with family and we all had a great time. The property offers lots to do for all ages. The kids really enjoyed the pool. The whole property and setting is very peaceful, private and beautiful. It offers lots of space and pretty much everything you need is there. It’s just a short walk to quaint shops, restaurants and the lake. I would highly recommend staying here. We can’t wait to visit again!
We had an amazing stay!! Right downtown but still super private! The pool is incredible And the property is very well kept and clean!! We absolutely will be back!
This property was amazing. Everyone enjoyed the pool, the accommodations, the town...it was all a hit. When it came time to leave nobody wanted to go, that means it was a great week. We had a few little issues but nothing that spoiled the fun. Lots of great memories were made.
Property is very nice and we had the best time ever! Pool is awesome and very accommodating. Wonderful for the entire family. Great for parents, grandparents and kids with grandchildren. Best location to spend with the entire family. Close to town where there are restaurants and shops. It doesn't get any better than this!

Long time fan of the Lexington area, the restaurants, shops and people. I loved this area for many years and am happy to be a part of the town.
Why they chose this property
Two homes nestled in the wood with a great atmosphere. You can relax and seem like you up north but if you get bored or hungry all you have to do is cross the street to go to the winery, shops, gallery, grocery store, or some of the nice restaurants that Lexington has to offer.
What makes this property unique
Spacious with two homes, a pool, and nice open grounds. Close to church, entertainment, shops, gas station, grocery store, restaurants, beach, and marina.
