Fully equipped cabin accommodates 4 people
Chris, Charlene, Dale and Ada would like to welcome you to their private, mountain cabin. The property that the cabin is on has been in their family for generations. After graduating from college, (Chris has Bachelor degrees in Sport Information and Marketing and Management, Charlene has Master's degrees in School Counseling and Library Science, and Dale has an Associate's degree in Heating and Air Conditioning) they decided to design and build a special retreat so that they could share their amazing Appalachian mountains with others. In 2003, their dream became a reality and they began welcoming guests to "The Land of the Waterfalls". Please feel free to call and ask us questions about the accommodations. You will probably speak with Ada, Dale and Charlene's mom. She loves talking with guests and can answer most any question about this area.
Charlene purchased this Cabin in 2003
Why Charlene chose Brevard
The property that the 11.75 acre retreat is on was inherited from Dale and Charlene's grandfather who moved to the Brevard area in the 1930's. The property is bordered by thousands of acres of land that was recently opened as the new Headwaters State Forest. As kids, Dale and Charlene explored the property with their grandparents and are thrilled to share it with you!

This is a very well designed and built cabin nestled in the trees. Total privacy and peacefulness. Very clean and wonderfully laid out and decorated inside. It’s bigger than it looks in the photos. Very comfortable seating and beds. Porch rocking at it’s finest.
We hope you will visit us again soon!
Clean and comfortable. A little far to Brevard. Enjoyed the waterfalls and restaurants. Cell phone service very spotty
perfect weekend get away
The property was a perfect home base for a long weekend of hiking and relaxing. A clean, well equipped property in a good location. Remote but close enough to town to have eat out options when we did not feel like eating in. Easy communication with property management and the internet worked great. Verizon service was sketchy in the area but we had no expectations for cell service in the mountains. We would love to return maybe even with the kiddos next time.
Everything was great!!!! Very secluded and close to great trout fishing.
Everything was great. Only thing I would add would be more specific directions to cabin. Once you turn into gravel road you will take your next left to go to cabin. It was about impossible to find in dark.
