We’re sorry that the upstairs ceiling height proved a bit challenging for you. I’m 6' tall myself and find the upstairs bedroom quite comfortable to navigate, although we certainly understand that particularly tall guests may need to be a little more mindful in that space. For anyone considering the cottage, our VRBO photos provide a good representation of the rooms, furnishings, and overall layout. The living room has two loveseats that can each comfortably seat two people, along with an additional comfortable chair and other seating throughout the cottage. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed with enough room to comfortably walk around it as well. We’re so glad you found the beds comfortable and enjoyed your stay overall. We’re also happy to hear that the large bowl came in handy—we try to include those little extras that make a stay more comfortable. We’re sorry the bed and furniture weren’t quite the right fit for you. We do hear from many of our guests that they find the beds and furnishings very comfortable, but of course everyone has their own preferences when it comes to firmness and comfort. We’re also sorry you weren’t able to find the seasoning salt you were looking for. We do provide salt and pepper, and occasionally items can find their way into a different cupboard or drawer. Please always feel free to reach out if you’re looking for something during your stay—we’re happy to help! And we’re always glad to hear suggestions for additional kitchen items or seasonings that would be useful to future guests.
