The Big Oak Cabin is located a mile from BOTH the Northfork of the White River and Bryant Creek. Norfork lake is only a few miles away, and Bull Shoals Lake is a 45 minute drive. Located near many outfitters, blue ribbon trout areas, put in points for floating, and the Mark Twain National Forest, there is no shortage of things to do or nature to enjoy! NO WIFI AVAILABLE! Located on a private 8 acres on a quiet county road, the cabin itself features a wrap around porch, vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and exposed beams. There are 3 beds (one in the master bedroom, one in an ajacent bedroom, and a pull out sofa), enough to sleep 6 people comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped to stage an outdoor BBQ or a fine meal featuring a full size fridge, stove and oven, dishes, pot and pans, and utensils. As a bonus there is a laundry closet with a washer and dryer. This Cabin has everything you need!

In and Out

The perfect place to shower and sleep after a full day on the river. Best part - sitting on the porch with our a.m. coffee, watching the deer, birds, rabbits and wildlife. Bonus!

Clean and relaxing cabin

AMAZING!!!

If your looking for a secluded getaway in nature this is definitely the place!! The inside of the property is absolutely adorable and has everything you need! So much natural lighting coming in, and the outside!! Ugh! I’d love to live here! Deer sightings about 10 yards from us on the back porch! The hot tub is amazing! If your thinking about it! DO IT!!

Beautiful

We loved our time in the cabin. We had to leave early due to a family emergency and I hated to go. That porch overlooking the woods was calling my name! We also saw two fawns super up close!

Girls Get-a-way!

This cabin is very secluded and quite...just what we were looking for! Easily sleeps 4-6 but could use a couple more seats in the living room. But everything you need is there...to include charcoal for the grill! We encountered a bad storm while visiting and lost power (which also affects the water) so that made things a bit more interesting but we had a great time and would definitely go back! Thank you!

Peaceful Getaway for our Float Trip

Great place to stay for Ozarks float trip

This place was perfect for what we needed: a nice, clean place to stay for a one-day float trip. There were 4 of us: two adults and two teens. The host was super easy to work with, we even had to shift our stay by a day, and since it was still available, she made the change for us within minutes. The cabin-house had all the supplies we would need: paper towels, trash bags, even baggies and plenty of spices to cook with. Coffee was also provided on a cute little coffee stand. We grilled after a day on the river and warmed up in the very clean hot tub (it rained most of the day on the river). The cabin was very cute and two bedrooms were in the open loft with a nice clean comfortable pull-out couch in living room. I would suggest maybe one more place to sit in living room such as bean bag or comfy side chair. I drank coffee every morning out on the wrap-around porch, enjoying the squirrels birds and rabbits. Check out was very easy as well. We would definitely return if we do another Ozarks float trip.

This cabin is exactly as described. Completely in the country with porches, shade trees, fire pit, dirt roads, sunsets, and STARS! Seriously, the stars at night are lovely since the area is sparsely populated and the cabin is atop a big hill. It’s wonderfully located with something interesting in every direction. We floated the North Fork and the Bryant (good fishing here by the way). We swam in the Bryant at Warren access just down the dirt road. We hiked to Blue Spring at Hammond access on the North Fork and enjoyed that for a while. We visited Hodgson Mill. We wanted to swim at Dawt but ran out of time. The internet and phone service is unreliable. There is a half bath downstairs and a full bath upstairs with the two loft bedrooms. It’s all open and cute, but not very private. It worked well for our family. You should take your own food to prepare. If you forget something, the Dora Dollar General will likely have it. There’s plenty of bedding, towels, dishes, etc. The owners have done a great job making this cabin a friendly place to stay!

July 4th Weekend Getaway

Excellent cabin for a nice, relaxing weekend. Comfortable chairs to sit outside and read. Very nice hot tub and the candle lights were a nice touch to add to the ambiance.

Second visit - we'll be back

This was our second visit to the Big Oak Cabin and it was as good as the first. Bunnies in the yard every morning, fireflies in the evening in the hot tub. Pure bliss!!

Five stars isn't enough!

Every thing you need is there! Bring food and beverage! That's it! Middle of nowhere, it's quiet beyond belief. The only way I can think of to make this venue better, would be King size beds, and a Hammock. It's that close to perfect!

Beautiful location

Love coming home to this place after a day on the river. It is right down the street from Petites Outfitter and super peaceful with beautiful large mature trees all around. The hot tub is nice and clean and hot! Beds are nice and clean and very comfortable too.

Amazing

We book this property for our anniversary weekend. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We wanted something away from the hustle and bustle of the city and this was it. The home was as described and surpassed our expectations. The hot tub was an amazing extra. Super quit and secluded. You forget just how may stars are in the sky but get to see them here. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Great quiet getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We're looking for a quiet couple days break and the cabin was perfect. Everything we needed to cook our meals. The deck was great to sit and enjoy the sunsets. Hot tub was great. Paige was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.

Relaxing getaway

The cabin was very nice and roomy. Out in the country. The nearby road was busier than we thought it might be, either people going on down the road to other homes or to the river a couple miles down. Could hear a rooster and nearby cows mooing when outside. The wrap around porch was very nice as was the back deck with hot tub. We were confused checking in because the instructions given were not 100% accurate. But we figured it out. We took our motorcycle and rode down into Arkansas. There is a lot of really nice riding in the area. Be sure to go to Peel, Arkansas and take the Ferry across Bull Shoals lake.
