One of the bedrooms is right on highway 1, so fairly noisy. Also no place for suitcases in this bedroom. Otherwise everything was great. Hosts very communicative and easy to reach.

A perfect place for a getaway in Bodega Bay. The sunroom and view were the best part, I counted 16 herons, a few egrets and one otter outside our window the morning we left.

we were there on a quiet weekend so there was no problem getting out of the property and onto Hy. 1. we enjoyed Doran Beach County Park and would have spent more time there if time allowed. The drive north to Duncan Mills on the Russian River was spectacular and the shops there are well worth a visit.Regarding the house I have a couple of suggestions for the host, (1) safety grab bars in the bathrooms in the shower and by the toilets would be a nice improvement and (2) providing a couple rolls of paper towels in the kitchen would be a nice touch. Overall, a nice place with great views of the harbor.

The place was dirty and looked abandoned, even like someone's shelter. They had not prepared anything for our arrival. The mattresses were old, the place was deteriorated, and we lost a day of vacation because it was badly advertised and did not resemble the pictures. All the pictures shown were probably very old, as even the chairs shown on the outside were really deteriorated. The owners offered to come clean to get it ready for that night, but even with a whole week of cleaning, that place needed a total renewal as we showed in the pictures and videos we took.

I am so very sorry that our cleaner did not come prior to your arrival. I imagine that was very difficult for you after a day of travel. My cleaner was actually at the hospital and apologized profusely for not letting me know. She is very reliable and professional and this was an extreme circumstance. Her cousin cleaned the house early the following day and will be cleaning for us while our regular cleaner recovers. As you said, I offered to come clean immediately and also to give you that night free. I felt bad for the inconvenience wanted to make it right for you. I gave you some other options but you demanded a full refund. I agreed to override our cancelation policy and your refund has been processed The house was completely remodeled about 4 years ago. I am surprised to hear you say that the mattresses look old because many guests have commented on how comfortable they are and even asked where I got them. Our overall review rating is 9.6 and most people are remark on how beautiful the views are and how comfortable and well stocked the house is. I am sorry you were not able to enjoy it.

That was an INCREDIBLE stay for our family. The location, the house itself, everything was top notch. The house felt like a home. We spent our days watching birds float in front of the windows, seals play in the shallows, and clouds gently flow over Bodega Head. It was medicine for the soul staying here. Already looking at when we can come back.

We booked this home for the view an it didn't disappoint! We loved watching the bay change throughout the day. One drawback was that the downstairs/primary bedroom had an overpowering musty smell. Even after running a plug-in dehumidifier and turning up the heat, the smell was strong. The beds were comfortable, towels soft. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. The hosts had excellent communication and the check-in/out process was clear and easy. Thank you for sharing your home.

Scenic quiet stay

Really enjoyed our stay, we had a beautiful early spring vacation with an amazing view. There are a number of places to pick up food in the area and near the best crab sandwiches on the Chase. Amazing spot!

Bodega Bay Get Away

Outstanding local with exceptional views. We enjoyed our 5 day stay. There is a local grocery store , one minute walk away. Highly recommend the place.

Easter Family Vacation

This house was such a tranquil, relaxing getaway. The views of the bay from the deck, the living room, and master bedroom were stunning. Kitchen had everything we needed. We greatly enjoyed the wood burning fireplace.

Beautiful views and Great location!

Comfortable place with a great sunroom and deck with beautiful views of Bodega Bay. Close to a lot of great options for food, hikes, drives and overall nice place to stay. Will be back!
