Welcome to the William Marston House circa 1780, located conveniently in the Village of Marstons Mills! This magnificent, historic home was previously operated as an inn and has been restored over the last fifteen years into an updated, beautifully-maintained family home. With its six bedrooms and five baths, the house comfortably sleeps twelve people. A large eat-in kitchen accommodates a crowd, while a formal dining room and an outdoor patio offer more dining options. The shaded patio and large in-ground pool overlook Mill Pond and ten acres of conservation land.

The three acre property offers guests beautiful views, a perennial flower gardens and lush lawns -- a peaceful, private setting conveniently located next to ammenities and Cape attractions. Village shops and library are walking distance, Stop & Shop grocery store is under a one-mile drive, and the nearest beach is just under two miles. Main street shopping and dining is just a short drive away, which includes the Osterville Village (5 minutes) and Mashpee Commons (10 minutes). A beach pass will be included with your rental, allowing you access to eight Barnstable Town beaches -- some of the most beautiful beaches on the Cape!

THE HOUSE: The +4500 square foot house has 12 rooms. The first floor includes a summer kitchen, an eat-in kitchen, dining room, den, large living room with baby grand piano, and a sun-room that overlooks the patio and pool area. On one side of the house, the second floor has five bedrooms, which includes one 2-bedroom suite and three full bathrooms. The other side of the house has a bright and airy master suite with beautiful views of the pond. The property manager lives on-site in separate dwelling. Whether it's a family vacation, or a peaceful retreat for artist, photographers, yoga etc this is the perfect place for a cape cod escape.

A fabulous view over a private seven acre pond from the pool area and the master bedroom provides an ever-changing panorama of Osprey arriving from South America to build their nests and feed their young all summer long, fish ladders used by tens of thousands of herring heading up Marstons Mills river to spawn, Swans raising their young just offshore from the house, many variety of ducks, and acres of water willow providing nesting areas for many other species of birds.
