Great place to stay!
Relaxing Getaway
We so enjoyed our time here! The house was exactly as expected. The neighborhood was extremely quiet. Margaret responded immediately to a question. All-in-all it was a perfect getaway!

Just wonderful.
Fantastic place! Very inviting and only 4-5 mins from downtown Fredericksburg. Enjoyed the evenings and mornings watching all the deer come and go and even saw a couple of turkeys in an afternoon. Fantastic place and had just a wonderful time.

Beautiful countryside setting, just 5 minutes from downtown. Clean, spacious, and quiet. Lots of deer, just far enough away from the house, and hummingbirds abound!
Relaxing and comfortable stay
The cottage is very well designed and we loved the short distance from town. Feeding and watching the deer from the screened back patio was amazing! My cousin that has been complaining with back and hip problems commented every morning about how great she felt because the mattress was so comfortable. The master bath is absolutely wonderful! The 2nd bath is fine, but you are spoiled if you have been in the master bath. Do be aware that the 2nd bedroom is a loft with 2 twin beds so there is little privacy and it is a little warm up there. We would have liked to have had a dishwasher and that is the reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars. I will definitely go back for a longer stay for the relaxation and location. To go for a longer stay, a small or stackable washer and dryer would surely be nice, but it's a great place to stay. The owner was very quick to respond to my texts with questions.
