CUSTOMS SHACK (time Vauban) in bay of Mont Saint Michel

Marvel your nights soothed by the wind, the tide, the birds singing and the fire crackling in this cabin located in the heart of the Bay. This place will give you a view of Mont Saint Michel, Tombelaine, and the Herbus.

The accommodation consists of a main living room of 20m² and is surrounded by a garden of about 300sqm. Do not be surprised hardiness and age of housing, because it is making it its charm and authenticity. This atmosphere will allow you to let you sink faster into the skin of a customs officer.

Travelers will have access to all housing and land. Access to the cabin is on foot about 300 meters by a path called the coastal footpath GR 223 or via the maritime public domain.

Obviously our equipment consists of the minimum for a homecoming at the time of Vauban.
Indoor furniture equipment is a sofa bed for two, a wall shelf, a table with four chairs and a small closet for storing items and kitchenware. We provide a towel, a sponge, a bowl, two plates, two glasses, two forks, two knives, two teaspoons, two tablespoons, two mugs, two bowls, three pots, a pot, a colander, a can opener, bottle opener, corkscrew, and a two-pronged fork, spatula and tongs for the grill.
The outdoor furniture equipment includes a barbecue, as well as a drum and four logs using natural garden.
The appliances are a gas stove, a solar light and a small flashlight.
The accommodation has a toilet and a solar shower outside in the garden shed. Each night, there is available a reserve of 6 liters of water in the bottle. Food canisters are also available to power including solar shower.

For information, housing is not connected to water and electricity for a homecoming, a digital detox or a spiritual retreat. So I advise you to recharge your mobile phone, your camera and your various electrical appliances before this trip out of time; Or provide your connection suitable for the cigarette lighter of your vehicle.
Sunlamps an autonomy of about 6:00 will be provided for the night, and candles.
Each night, there will be available a reserve of 6 liters of bottled water, and food jerry cans of 20 liters.

This accommodation was a welcome validation for four. Therefore, it is quite possible that you come accompanied by two other people (your children for examples). Nevertheless, we will have to warn ourselves in advance, so that we install the mattress of two places and that we foresee the linen of additional bedding.

A lighter, newspaper, grills, charcoal, fire starter cubes and wood will be at your disposal to light a chimney fire that will warm up your nights and to make a barbecue that will allow you to cook your food if you want. Moreover I will prepare you the fireplace in advance. It will do more to turn it on. I added that if the wood is missing in the wicker tray located in the cabin, you can help yourself in the wood stock that is stored below the lookout. Otherwise, you will have the opportunity to use the gas stove.

I remember that information for household and hygiene products are not provided. For cons, I plan anyway for convenience of toilet paper, dish soap, towels and washcloths.

Regarding the bedding, I always prepare a very cozy bed. The bed will be ready when you arrive. I provide a mattress pad, a house sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket, a duvet with her duvet and two pillows and pillowcases. However, for extra comfort, you can expect your duvets.

The first river in France for salmon runs near the house. Many varieties of fish live there, including mullet, eels, plaice, sole, sea trout, salmon and course. This place is a real El Dorado for the observation of different species of animals. Many bird species migrate and stay in bay. For nature lovers you'll be in heaven.

Some morning you will see the sheep of salt meadow and during ballads you can pick the samphire (sea bean) that grows only on marine soils.

Every day held the tides. Some are more impressive than others and can climb to limit rocky terrain. You will be cut off from the world for a few hours as if you were a lighthouse keeper at sea or on the island.

It is located about 10 km from Mont Saint Michel. You can access it by the GR 223 (coastal paths), by the bay (it is recommended to be accompanied by a guide) or by road.
