Great location

We just finished a month long stay. The apartment had everything we needed to feel at home. The location is excellent. Centrally located with access to subway and train very close. It is a great neighborhood with everything you need within a few blocks. Arturo and Tina were quick to respond to questions and were easy to coordinate with.

Nice place, great location

We stayed in this apartment for over three weeks and came to see it as our home, especially after spending long days out exploring and just walking around this wonderful city. We agree with all the positive comments about this apartment and the area. Everything essential is within easy walking distance (after trying their goods, we came to think of one of the bakeries (Turris) as essential). We found within a few blocks four excellent Tapis restaurants--chosen randomly--and many others we did not try. Large and small groceries and pharmacies are close by. There is a large farmers market about five blocks away, which has every fresh food item you could hope for. A stop for the very clean and safe Metro is a block away, and it connects you to all parts of the city. The sunlight in the living room and front bedroom is fantastic. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. We ate most of our meals there and found the kitchen more than adequately equipped, although the cooking knives are a little dull. Our hosts, Tina and Arturo, were great: warm and helpful. Any time we had a more complicated message, their son Javier, would help with translations. I will note two exceptional accommodations: the refrigerator went out, and a new one was delivered and installed the very next day!; the hair dryer also died, and Arturo delivered a new one the next day, which was a Sunday. There are five flights of stairs up to the apartment, and we used them for additional exercise, but the lift

Wonderful place and great location! Loved how apartment was a great combination of modern upgrades while keeping old world charm too. Wonderful light in living room from floor to ceiling windows, greeted us with Barcelona sunshine most days. Tina and Arthur were great hosts, quick and friendly communication. Lovely Apartment in a perfect neighborhood

Stayed at the property for 5 weeks total. Its in a terrific area, central to Barcelona. 1 block off of the L5 Metro line with connections to all other mass transportation in and out of Barcelona. The apartment was well accommodated with dishes, towels, linens and so on. Many amenities in the area with several markets, restaurants, etc. Walking distance to many main attractions also. Internet speeds are respectable, and there is a desk setup for the digital nomads right by the router. We would stay at the unit again if available next time in the area.

Very convenient location

The location make it very easy to get most anywhere in the city. The main bedroom is on the busy street side, so you’ll need white noise. The back bedroom is quiet and has its own separate AC unit and bathroom. That’s where we put our 3 year old, but I shared a room with her since it was so far away from the other room. The main bathroom is remodeled and very nice. The elevator is handy. The restaurant downstairs has good, traditional tapas style food and lunch menus. They do paellas on Thursdays. There are 4 playgrounds just 2 blocks away. We enjoyed our stay for 7 weeks.

Great location, Kind Landlord, Great Stay

My wife and two-year-old daughter and I lived in the apartment for three months. Everything was great and good. Tina and her family were very kind and they responded quickly every time we contacted them and always tried to comfort us. The apartment was exactly like the photos and all the equipment was perfect for a long stay. I recommend this apartment to everyone.

Great apartment in Eixample

We stayed eight weeks in this lovely apartment. Tina was always quick to respond to questions and very helpful. We loved the full kitchen, the full bath, the living/dining room space, and the balcony. Having the extra bedroom in back was good for privacy for our guests. There’s some typical urban street noise at night, but the location close to subway stations and Sagrada Familia (and great restaurants) was worth it.

Three perfect months

I stayed in this apartment for a total of three months (May-July 2019) and had a great experience. The apartment is in a perfect location in the Dreta de l’Eixample. A Metro station (L4 and L5 lines) is a block away and several key bus stops are nearby. The Gracia neighborhood is a block away, and Sagrada Familia is only a 6-block walk. The area is non-toursity, with lots of good bars, restaurants, and grocery stores in the immediate area. A gelato shop that was a block away was a personal favorite. The apartment itself was wonderful. It is on the 4th floor of a building that has a good bar/restaurant on the ground floor. There are about 80 steps to get to the apartment, but there was also a good elevator. The layout is effective, and the kitchen is well-equipped with lots of dishes, pots and pans, and up-to-date appliances. There is a good washing machine (no dryer, but stuff dries really quickly on the lines out the back window). Having a good Internet connection was important; the wifi was strong throughout the apartment – I never had any problems. There are 1 ½ baths, with a great shower in the main bathroom. I had several guests during my stay. The apartment would work well for two couples or a family. Tina and Arturo were ideal hosts. I did not have much contact with them during my stay, but when I did have a question or request, Tina responded very quickly via WhatsApp. I highly recommend this apartment, especially for those looking for a place that is not in the middle of the main tourist areas in Barcelona.

Très bel appartement espagnol

L'appartement est idéalement situé à Barcelone, près des quartiers à la mode avec une multitude de commerces, restaurants, bars et à l'écart du tourisme de masse qu'on retrouve collé à la mer, on ne peut pas rêver meilleur emplacement à Barcelone avec la possibilité de tout faire à pied, Barcelone ayant des immeubles magnifiques un peu dans toute la ville. L'appartement est moderne (climatisation dans le salon, ascenseur) tout en ayant gardé son cachet d'origine (carrelage), très bien agencé (cuisine séparée, toilettes séparées) et très bien équipé (lave vaisselle, four, micro onde, vitro), on peut difficilement trouver mieux sur le marché. L'accueil des propriétaires est également remarquable avec plein de petites attentions et la possibilité de fixer l'heure de l'entrée et de la sortie. La chambre coté rue est extrêmement bruyante (au carrefour d'une 4 voies et d'une 2 voies) pour dormir mais une autre chambre coté cour est tranquille (non climatisée). Le salon salle à manger est également coté rue (très lumineux), ce qui peut être problématique pour ouvrir les fenêtres en journée. Le balcon coté rue permet de profiter d'une vue dégagée et de l'animation positive et joyeuse de la ville. A louer sans réserve pour profiter d'un séjour typiquement espagnol.

A great apartment in a wonderful city

We have just left from a 35 nights stay. This apartment is a fabulous location. A great central location,located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood is convenient for public transport and iwith easy access to historical sights for most of the things you would want to visit while in Barcelona. Everything you could possibly want food-wise is within a 3 minute walk; bakeries, charcuteries, coffee shops, bars, tapas, grocery stores . The apartment was very clean, spacious and well equipped in a nice building (with a lift). Florentina made the check-in simple and provided us with many tips about how to get around and what we should see. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Barcelona. A great apartment in a wonderful city.

Great location and Great Stay!

The apartment was clean and nicely updated. Extra towels and linens were provided. The location was very close to many shops and the metro, easy to get to. We were able to walk to almost every popular location or quickly catch a bus or subway. The owners were responsive and flexible with our schedule. Our only significant warning is that the main bedroom opens to the intersection, which is loud all hours of the day and night. Obviously, no one can do anything about this, but just a heads up to renters to pack earplugs or a noise machine etc. Otherwise, it was a great family apartment since the second room is situated towards the back of the apartment was cool and quite.

Fabulous, confortable, perfect location !!!

absolutely stunning apartment , confortable , every detail is thought !. Arturo and Tina, are special people!, care, lovely and completelly customer service oriented. The unit has evertyhting you need. we stayed 3 months and we were delaighted. all the unit is renovated and it was done with really good taste and functional orientation, all the appliances are new, and completelly silence. The unit is the whole day sunny. The bath is perfect to avoid any falls in. the location is perfect, not to centric, not far away oif nothing. Metro is 100 mts, Gracia is 100 mts, buses 100 mts, one of the best tapas bar, downstairs! I would not doubt to go again !

Fantastic apartment. As described really good position

Wonderful apartment very close to supermarket Restuarants and the verdiguer metro. Apartment was very clean, had a lift which was good as although the it was level 3 it was actually up about 5 flights. Would really recommend this apartment very comfortable and excellent shower. Lovely baker nearby for baguettes and croissants. Easy access to all visitor attractions. Would definitely return to this apartment

Hermoso departamento, excelente ubicación

El señor Arturo nos recibió en el departamento y nos dio todas las orientaciones necesarias. El departamento está muy bien ubicado pudiendo ir a casi todos lados caminando o en metro, el cual está a pasitos. El departamento está muy bien equipado, tiene lo necesario para una cómoda estadía. Wonderful location and apartment, hospitable and responsive owners

My husband and I, and our two teenagers, feel very fortunate to have found this apartment. It was perfect for our 3 days in Barcelona--centrally located, just several minutes from a metro stop and near small cafes (eg. Cafe Clare--wonderful salads) and grocery stores, and lovely inside. Sleeping was comfortable (there is some noise, but it was not excessive and was what we expected for a central city location) and the layout & space were perfect for eating a few meals in and playing games & watching some soccer in the evenings. The neighborhood is lovely. We highly recommend it. We'd go back to this beautiful city and lodge in this apartment in a heartbeat. The owners were most hospitable, and they were immediately responsive to one small question/issue we had with the stove top.

Perfect property for exploring Barcelona

This apartment is in a very interesting old building, but has been modernised to a high standard. We were able to walk to many interesting places and it is only minutes away from the metro. There are shops, bars, restaurants and excellent bakers nearby. The handover of the keys went smoothly and the apartment has everything for an enjoyable stay - comfortable beds, plenty of towels, excellent shower and all kitchen utensils and appliances. The coffee machine was particularly welcome. We enjoyed people watching from the balcony as the area feels like "real" Barcelona rather than merely a tourist area. A memorable stay, the only disappointment was the rain every day!

Perfect Barcelona apartment

The apartment was exactly as described, spotlessly clean with a very well-appointed kitchen, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and wifi. Everything was very well maintained. The apartment is north of Av Diagonal, so v convenient for la Sagrada Familia. The Old Town and Barri Gotic were more of a walk, but if out later on we got a taxi back - very easy and inexpensive. The open-top tourist buses are good too, you can hop on and off all day. The owners Tina and Arturo are a delightful couple and nothing is too much trouble. If you have any particular queries, ask in advance and Tina will email a reply almost instantly through the site. They lent us umbrellas when we had a day of rain and most kindly looked after our luggage on our last day as we had a late flight. They let me practise my Spanish and understood me! Barcelona is a very friendly city and I hope to return many times, I would certainly stay in this apartment again and would recommend it.

Situación ideal en el centro de Barcelona

Apartamento ideal conforme a la descripción, muy limpio, decorado con gusto y con todo lo necesario (sábanas, toallas, menaje..). Situado en el mismo centro de Barcelona, con la estación de metro y la parada de varias líneas de BUS al lado. Nosotros utilizamos muy poco el metro y el BUS porque las lugares más importantes para visitar están a pocos minutos andando desde el apartamento ( Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, Las Ramblas etc.) En la zona hay un montón de restaurantes y tiendas de todo tipo, Lo normal tratándose del centro de una gran ciudad. El propietario muy amable tanto por e Mail como a nuestra llegada. Cuando llegamos ya nos estaba esperando. Barcelona nos gustó mucho. Volveremos a este apartamento.

What a fabulous apartment!

What a fabulous apartment! Conveniently located in the heart of the city. We have traveled quite extensively. This is by far and away the most beautiful. The location is amazing, walking distance to attractions like Sagrada Familia, and an area full of charming restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores to satisfy our needs during our stay - toomany to visit in one short week. A nearby market also sold great fresh meats and cheeses - we went shopping every day. The apartment is quiet and clean. Beds are comfortable; and the kitchen has pans and appliances to make you feel at home. While the place was perfect for our needs, the apartment owners were the highlight of our experience. They answered a flood of questions by email in a timely and precise manner each time we contacted them. When we arrived, Arturo was waiting for us to help us with our bags, show us the apartment, and orient us to the neighborhood. He was extremely helpful throughout the experience. I highly recommend this property.

Sehr schöne helle, neu renovierte Wohnung. Zentrale Lage. Alles was man braucht ist da.

Küchenausstattung ist gut. Sehr saubere und gepflegte Wohnung. Zentrale Lage. Das Restaurant direkt am Haus ist empfehlenswert. Einfache aber gute spanische Küche und sehr freundlich. Das hintere Schlafzimmer ist sehr ruhig. Das vordere Schlafzimmer ist nur für Leute geeignet, denen nächtlicher Verkehrslärm keine Probleme bereitet. Unter diesen Vorgaben würde ich auch meinen Freunden die Wohnung weiter empfehlen. PS: Dem Bett im hinteren Schlaftzimmer fehlt der Bettkasten, deshalb rutschen die beiden Matratzen immer auseinander und man kann aus dem Bett fallen. Das müsste unbedingt geändert werden. Wir haben uns damit beholfen die Matratzen zusammenzubinden.

Excellent apartment; light, bright and spotlessly clean with good quality fixtures and fittings, all necessary equipment and comfortable beds. Should just mention only 1, 2 seater sofa. Ideal central location, within easy walking distance of many famous locations and dream shops, with a good map, Metro very close. Be aware some Metros have many, many stairs, try the buses if that's a problem, Metro and buses covered by travel cards. Found some wonderful authentic places to eat in the immediate area so explore that option. "Clares", only a few steps away is to be recommended, especially for the Tapas, only small and very popular with locals. Tina and Arturo very friendly. Highly recommend this apartment

Very nice apartment

Apartment was wonderful and it is just like the pictures show. The apartment was new, modern and decorated nicely. The main thing is that it was very clean. We felt very safe as it was in a very good area. It is situated in a very central location where you can walk to all of the sights in Barcelona (the metro stations are very close by too). There is an abundance of restaurants right out the front door if you prefer not to cook. There is all the shopping you will need out the front door.If we go back to Barcelona, we would book this place again in a heartbeat.

This place is a find

My family of four stayed here for a week in Augost. and it couldn't have been more terrific. The apartment is clean and well-maintained, bathrooms great, kitchen great - all modern appliances ( microwave, washer, dishwasher) in perfect working order. It's laid out great for some separation, with the master bedroom at one end of the apartment. Furniture is great, beds are comfortable, and the front of the apartment has great light. The location is perfect -- close to great restaurants, walk to Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, Paseo de Gracia, Las Ramblas. There is The manager Arturo for the apartment couldn't be nicer, and was incredibly helpful and responsive. This place is a find
