Bellfield Corner is a recently refurbished comfortable semi-detached house that overlooks the river Ness.The house is within 10 minutes walk of the Town House, with Eden Court Theatre, Inverness Castle and city centre also easily walkable. Directly across from the house you can walk/relax in the beautiful Ness Islands. Bellfield Park with its gardens, play area and tennis courts is a stone's throw away.
The house is situated within a large garden with an enclosed patio area that has garden furniture. The accommodation offers 3 bedrooms: 1 large double with en suite shower and toilet, 1 with twin beds and 1 single all upstairs. Downstairs there is a family bathroom, sitting/dining room and kitchen with breakfast bar. 1 well behaved dog is welcome and the Ness Islands are ideal for dog walks. There is off-street parking in front of the garage which is also available for guests' use. There is further on-street parking.
Facilities include gas central heating, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, large electric oven and hob, smart HD TV with freeview and DVD and WiFi is available. There is a selection of books, games and DVDs for guests' use.

Fabulous House and Location

Extremely impressed with this property. Beautiful house with everything from a hoover to air dryer for clothes. It really was a home from home. There is an extensive welcome pack, and a box folder with numerous pamflets, leaflets and other information about places to go. The bonus was the pack of maps under the tv which you can take a copy of, showing Inverness and Loch Ness. An extremely useful and thoughtful item. Only a 5 min walk to the town, along the stunning River Ness which the house overlooks. I really cannot thank Shona enough for our stay, it made Inverness a wonderful holiday experience for us all. I would definitely recommend this property and genuinely rate this as a 5* property, you won't be dissapointed. I will absolutely be booking here if we venture up to Inverness again!

Perfect house

This was a beautiful comfy home from home! It had everything including a wonderful river side view. We had an on suite shower and toilet. There was on site parking which is everything in a city. The area was quiet. The walk along the river into the city took 15 mins tops and it was a stunning walk. The hosts shona and ian were so friendly and helpful. It really was a wonderful stay. Perfect for travelling further in the highlands. Will definitely be back.

Scotland tour

A great location from which to visit the highlands. We enjoyed amazing walks in Glenn Affric and the Cairngorms, and toured the Black Isle, Loch Ness and even ventured as far as Skye. The property is close enough to the town to walk in and use all the amenities, but in a great position overlooking the Ness river to feel secluded. Shona popped in to check everything was ok, and kept us informed via messages from booking through to check out.

Inverness stay

We arrived to find the house warm and welcoming. Goodies had been left for us and a pint of milk for a quick cuppa. Very well stocked for a long stay. Lots of information in the folder under the TV which we used for the oven as it didn't want to heat our tea. The owner even popped by just to make sure all was well. Lovely situation just on the banks of the River Ness. Lots of time spent watching all the dog walkers go past. Lovely at night with the reflections in the water. Would certainly recommend anyone staying there.

Brilliant house, perfect location!

The house was spotlessly clean and really well equipped. A perfect home from home! Shona was attentive but unintrusive. She left a lovely little welcome pack that was hugely appreciated after a long day of travelling. The location of the house was outstanding. Less than a kilometre fron Inverness City centre, about the same to Whin Park in the other direction, with its play park, miniature railway, skate park and boating Lake. It is also right beside Bellfield Park with its bike hire, tennis courts and play park with paddling pool. Perfect for children and teens and brilliant for our child with special needs. For us it was a perfect base to explore Inverness and the surrounding area. We enjoyed visits to Urquhart Castle, Fort George, Spynie Palace, Culloden battle site and Elgin Cathedral. We also enjoyed a bot tour of Loch Ness and a day trip to Nairn. We left before we could see and do all the things we wanted to see and do. The area is so steeped in history and offers so much for families. Many, many thanks to Shona for such a perfect base. We couldn't recommend the house or location highly enough!

Lovely place to stay

Had a lovely weeks break with family in Shonas house, the situation of the property is brilliant for river walks and view from window is gorgeous. Its about 10 minutes walk from town and supermarkets within walking distance too. Shona has everything you need, like tea, coffee, washing up liquid, toilet roll etc, very well equipped, home from home really. Would recommend.

Nice place handy for Inverness

Nice property, handy for walking into Inverness, nice walk through the ness islands and along the river. Could do with more space for car parking , though our car is quite big. Nice that basics were available and Shona left us milk in the fridge along with tea and coffee and some big biscuits. Recommended

Ideal stay for our group of 5 golfers

The property was ideally located only a 15 minute scenic walk along the river to the centre of Inverness. It has three bedrooms and we had a fold up bed to accommodate all of us five golfers. It had all the modern kitchen and washing facilities which we never used. We just used it as a base for which it was ideal. We had hired two cars and there was parking outside for both. Unfortunately one of our group parked on the road and was fined for two nights. This was totally our own fault but perhaps could be pointed out for future tenents. The landlords were brilliant. They left us to ourselves and on the two occasions we needed assistance they could not have been more helpful. When one of our group ended up in hospital after a bad fall, Shona volunteered to visit him. A gesture which was really appreciated. We had a wonderful time in Inverness. The golf courses exceeded our expectations, the town is prettier than we expected with good restaurants and bars. The ideal location of the accommodation enhanced the whole holiday. A real positive experience.

A beautiful spot of Inverness to stay, well equipped and cosy

We had some great weather, although we were working at the theatre we still managed to enjoy everything the house had to offer, from breakfast outside in the garden to watching a film late at night! Great location, excellent house for a family

The house is located next to a park with a playground which was great for our 3 year old. We started our days there. We also had some tickets for the theatre which is 5-7 minutes walk away. The town centre is 15 minutes stroll away along the river. The house is well equipped and clean. Shona was meeting us when we got there and explained how heating works. we had a great time and can't wait to be back.

Perfect for families

As mentioned by others this is a great location. Lovely views over the River Ness, short walk into the centre of Inverness, very handy for the Castle Tavern. However, one of the main benefits for us was having the lovely Bellfield Park right next door. Our six year old loved her morning paddle, playing on the swings etc and the putting green. You can also hire bikes and get ice cream here. House was great and well equipped. Highly recommended.

Had a very lovely stay here. We were working at the theatre which was a 5 minute walk away so very convenient. The host was very accommodating of our needs and very easy to contact. Lovely views outside the window and safe and peaceful area. The house was tidy, clean and homely fitted with all utensils and cooking equipment which was ideal. And three well sized bedrooms. I would recommend to anyone visiting Inverness wanting a self contained homely stay near to everything in Inverness. Many thanks.

Great location near the city centre and the river Ness

The owners were very helpful and friendly. They are only a phone call away if you need anything, but a file is provided with all the information you are likely to need. The house was clean & well presented as in the photos. Everything worked like the heating, hot water, showers, fridge, microwave, tv, wifi etc. Everything we needed like bed linen, utensils, towels & so on were all provided as well as a few welcome extras like some tea/coffee/milk, washing up liquid, toilet roll and shower gel. The location is great as it is within walking distance to the town centre & facing the river Ness over the road. I got some decent running done along the riverside and the canal towpath, which would also make for pleasant walks too if that's what you enjoy. I also saw that you can hire bicycles in Bellfield park next to the house, but I didn't have enough time for that unfortunately. I'd be more than happy to stay here again & Inverness was nicer than I had realised!

Excellent !!!

Perfectly located house and very well maintained. We felt like being at home. Shona (owner) was very helpful and provided all the basic information as soon as we arrived. In the house the baby high chair was little old which Shona did not like it and she bought the new one very next day... Very impressive and caring ... Also house is perfectly located with many restaurants located in 10mins walk. Overall a perfect holiday !!! Thank You Shona. We will definitely recommend your holiday home to our friends.

We loved the location, being so close to the Ness Islands yet close to the town centre. We have a dog Jody who enjoys walking in the islands and further afield to the Caledonian Canal which is also walkable. The house is near Bellfield Park which has lovely gardens and is great for the grandchildren.
