Fripp Island is centered between Charleston and Savannah, just north of Hilton Head. Outlying Beaufort, you must skip across the low country islands and marshes, over causeways, past a state nature preserve and park, to reach the barrier island called Fripp Island.
Used by pirates as a base in the 1700s, it was not developed until 50 years ago. It is a private, uncrowded, secure, vacation community. Rental homes and condos are few. Over 50% of the inhabitants are residents. Many more of the homes are second homes. The Fripp Island Club Resort, with its pool, golf, and tennis facilities, will be available for use by our guests!
There are two 3 bedroom condos, each sleeping 8. They have adjoining 75' by 15' of continous deck, 75' from the ocean. Start a family/friends tradition! These condos may be rented together or separately, depending on availability. Pets are NOT allowed. The condos are adjacent to the golf course, facing the ocean.
We're looking forward to sharing our slice of paradise with you!

The stay at the condo was great. Having the amenity cards was NOT!. Used them once at Bonita's which I would not recommend. The waitress was great . Food OK but way way over the top on price for the same food you can get at Boondocks for 1/2 the price. Example, Flounder sandwich at Bonita's was $19.95, whereas, at Boondocks ( not far away ) $8.95. The only thing the amenities would be good for is the pools which you cannot use unless you rent a golf cart which you need the amenities card to get anyway. There is free access to the ocean along the beaches so who needs a pool. Save your money and don't get the amenities card . On top of it , if you get your card . Check in 4 pm the place you get the cards closes at 5 pm which means you but a 4 day card and you can only use it for 3 days as the day you check out IT IS NO GOOD. DOH!!!!!!! Do not get the amenities card. A total waste of money. Condo was great. You do have bring you own TP but hey . Also, don't forget laundry detergent which is NOT provided. The place was great.
I'm glad you enjoyed our condo. Sorry you were disappointed with the amenity cards. In the future, I will try to do a better job describing the positives and negatives of spending the extra money on these cards. I would recommend that future renters have a phone conversation with the owner regarding any questions they may have before they arrive.
Wi-Fi never worked so no cell service unless we went out. Otherwise everything was great
Great Beachfront Condo!
A beautiful condo, right on the ocean, and very well outfitted. Comfortable furniture, great ocean views, and easy access to the beach. Kitchen is large and has everything you need. Wonderful place for a beach vacation. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer!
Very nice. Updated and decorated well. Comfortable beds and clean.
We very much enjoyed our stay and was a pleasure to work with the owner
Great Ocean Front Villa!
It was a great with two twin beds in the third bedroom. My different gendered kids could have a separate bed! The owner, Mary beth, was very helpful in guiding us to rent the unit. Thanks to her! Its nearness to the ocean made the stay even more pleasurable. The decor was pleasant and neutral. It was a lot better than pictures on the internet. The kitchen had everything we needed except kitchen scissors. Our family Thanksgiving Holiday there was very satisfying. I highly recommend this unit to others.
Some updates, still recovering from the Hurricane. New Haven is on the quieter end of the island and the ocean views are my favorite! Fripp Island is a treasure.
